Pretty good ayce sushi. Service was very good. I dropped by on a Wednesday night for dinner and it was busy. There was even a line up out the door by 7 pm. Where they really stand out is the portion sizes for the hot dishes. Most ayce places have single serving sizes for the noodles and udon and rice dishes. Not this place — about 2 servings in each dish so be careful not to over– order! Torched sushi seems to be the rage right now.

Quick service, good sushi with an updated atmosphere. Tip: the spicy mayo is slightly sweet and a bit different than most — would recommend!

Honestly one of the better/cleaner AYCE sushi restaurants in the Hammer. Prices are similar to any around. Sashimi only at dinner as per usual and good variety on the menu. Lots of staff and generally attentive if needed. Don’t believe they take debit, so best to bring cash or credit.

This is one of the AYCE sushi places that I adore. As opposed to other AYCE’s, I’ve always had a positive experience with them, in terms of both food and service. The décor is trendy and it suits any kind of party.

MEAAAAAAT. Spring Sushi brings the beef. It’s not my most fave sushi in Hamilton but when I’m craving mass quantities of tasty beef I choose Spring. It’s also really beautiful inside and in a very convenient location.

Really disappointed in Spring Sushi the pet while. Used to go out about once every week or so with the fiancée, and stopped going completely now. I noticed they switched suppliers and in terms of quality, you can really tell. I find now it’s more about how fast they can rush you pre cooked food and cheap sushi and get you in and out as fast as possible. Started going to August 8 for sushi, haven’t been disappointed since. They don’t have the same in terms of selection, but it suits my needs

Stopped in for quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The salmon salad was excellent and the sushi was fresh and tasty… And endless. Left feeling very full but healthy.

Came to spring sushi for the first time today. I gotta say, for an out town diner in Hamilton, this has got to be the best Japanese restaurant here in terms of value and service. I came alone for lunch after being frozen to death in my office close by. I was led to my seat and sat down in a comfortable area. The server introduced himself politely and offered to show me how to operate the iPad and his recommendations, then gave me time to order. Within 30 seconds, I got my hot tea with a plate of Japanese ginger and wasabi. Next, I ordered the spider roll. Came out within 10 minutes and I got a 8 piece role on a huge plate with different sauces decorated around the roll. By then, I was pretty impressed. The roll contained perfect rice with fresh vegetables and a crunchy soft shell crab. It was a delight having it around the 10 dollar mark. Normally don’t give 5 stars but this first impression spring sushi gave me. It was a perfect lunch experience.

The goto AYCE sushi place if you are on Hamilton mountain. Sapparo if you are downtown. The do have a wide variety of items. Food usually come quickly, although there are times when they miss an item or two. Taste is above average, nothing to brag about, prices are somewhat reasonable. Service is a hit or miss(probably depended on their volume, but they dont seemed understaffed) The lunch prices is well worth going, dinner hours not so much. Good place if you are craving AYCE.

Aside from the sashimi which was good but just not enough variety… we loved this place. Service was excellent and food was fantastic and came out quick. Everything tasted very fresh. Im not a big ayce sushi fan but this is the best weve been to!

We were in town from the States and wanted some Sushi. We went to Spring driven by the reviews here on Unilocal. If you are looking for a gimmick, this is your place. If you are looking for GOOD sushi, look elsewhere. First, let me say: Yes, its a fun concept. Ordering table side via iPad was neat. We have been to iPad restaurants before and the menu was laid out well and was easy to navigate. That said… there was ZERO service table side. This is what I like to say is a fast food table service restaurant. Get them in, and get them out. As we were seated we told our server that this was our first time here. She showed us the«all you can eat menu» or the«a-la-cart» menu. No explanations of the menu, pricing or suggestions. NO Bar upselling. We found later some neat beverages in their menu, but it was too late in the meal order anything. Due to utter confusion on the pricing, we went with the«all you can eat» option. We ordered appetizers, Miso soup and a salad. They came out by multiple servers very quickly. Both were tasty. Sushi starting coming out shortly after… again by an ensemble of servers. The rest of our order came out… but unevenly Torched Roll(6pc), Spicy Tuna Tempura Roll(6pc), Flying Fish Roe(1pc), Snapper Sashimi(1pc). First I want to point out that the photos did not match the items that came out. For instance the Sashimi. The menu showed a beautiful martini glass with five slices of Snapper, we got was one piece on a ten inch long flat plate covered with a leaf. If you are going to show photos in your menu present your items accurately. That all said, the Snapper was lovely. We should have ordered more. The Roe tasted old and fishy, glad only one came out(two were pictured). Rolls. Where to begin? We have been to restaurants and grocery store deli counters from Seattle to LA to NYC. I can not recall ANY where we had a worse roll. Everything was served WARM. We ordered three rolls in total(too much for two of us, but the Spicy Tuna was a no show for over 20 minutes, we ordered a Spicy Red Tuna Roll) There was no texture to any of the rolls we got. All were pasty mushy messes. Nearly every roll had avocado. I love Avocado… but I like options. People speak of quality here, that the«Rolls are so fresh». I am sorry, NONE of the rolls had a fresh quality. Again, if you are looking for fresh fish… look elsewhere. The physical plant itself needs help. The outlet is showing wear. A rest room with a «out of order» taped shut stall does not bode well. Soap dispensers also taped up to the wall… tacky.

Great service during lunchtime AYCE. Was so fast. My friend kept remarking how fast they were! The selection for lunch AYCE was also nice. Wouldn’t go here for sashimi, but ok for lunchtime sushi and rolls. The cooked food was also good. I support the curry chicken skewers :0

Food is great, service is always quick and friendly, even when it’s busy, and there’s a large selection, even for lunch. My only complaint is that they don’t have red bean ice cream! Prices may be a tiny bit higher, but it’s definitely worth it for the higher quality menu, food and service.

Very clean, nice and modern environment. The staff was very friendly and orders went really fast using a cool tablet with pics of the meals to order the food. I had all you can eat dinner with 2 friends and we were all very satisfied. Sushi, maki, rolls, teriyaki chicken, beef,… All really good. Price was reasonable and definitely worth the quality(regardless of quantity). We did 55 items from the menu :) beat that!

First thing I noticed about this place was its awesome, super intuitive and user-friendly website. :) Definitely have to admit it was part of the reason I came here. Once you are seated, the server will bring over an iPad and ask if you want to do the all you can eat or a la carte. The all you can eat costs $ 22.99 for dinner and there’s an additional $ 2 surcharge, so unless you can eat an enormous amount of sushi, it might be better to order off the menu if you come on a saturday night. The iPad menu is complete with pictures of all the items you can order. It’s pretty nice. You can add items to your cart, just as if you were online shopping. Enough about technology — the sushi here is fantastic. Salmon was super fresh. They don’t drown their rolls in sauce here, and the rolls are very flavorful. Their wasabi is great. I came with a friend and got to try the following: Red dragon roll, rainbow roll, spicy Salmon crunchy roll, Spicy tuna roll, eel roll. The Red dragon roll was my favorite. Really reasonable prices and very friendly staff.

Great atmosphere, good food, and you place your orders on an iPad! My first impression on the location was positive as it was well light, colorful, and very clean. When you place an order, you use the iPad located at your table. This is amazing as it eliminates the need to wait for a waiter to come to you to grab your order sheet. The process works well and left me and my friends extremely happy! The food came out to us pretty quickly and tasted good. This is one of the better sushi locations I have eaten at and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Overall I would definitely recommend this location to a friend.
