Chop House Burger Bar

After attending a wedding that was catered by Jerry Desy Head chef at the ‘Chop House’ we decided totry the place since the food at the wedding was great! My wife and I invited friends of ours to join us for my birthday. We went on Saturday Feb 20 at 5:00 pm.
The service was terrible… It took us 20 minutes before we received a menu. Were they Busy?.. No. It took us another 15 minutes before we got to place our order. The waitress was a complete idiot! When we finally got our order our friend had asked for cream for his coffee. We did not get the cream until half way thru our meal.
As far as the food was concerned I was very disappointed. The owner needs to check out the Burger Barn to see what a hambuger plate looks like. The fries were placed in a little white cup. Come on guys. potatoes are cheap!!. The four of us will not go there again and have certainly spread the word. Sorry Jerry I was expecting better!

Good little restaurant with great burgers and wings. I had the Canadian burger, it was delicious. This place is comparable to the works, but not better. Their fries weren’t anything special. Honey garlic wings were great. Need to try this place for sure.
Decent beer selection. Live music some weekends too.

I was in the Niagara/​St. Catharines area with my wife and we stopped in on a Groupon. I had the Quinoa patty with my own selection of toppings and sauces. It was easily one of the best vegan patties I’ve had. The décor and location aren’t the greatest, but it’s a clean restaurant and the service was impeccable. I’ll go back when I’m in town.

I love good burger places, so when I saw this place pop up on Groupon, I had to try it. And I’m so glad I did. There isn’t as much selection as, say, The Works, but I think the burgers are so much better. The apps are great too. I’ve been back a couple times, and tried a couple different burgers, and I’ve yet to have one I didn’t like. Highly recommended.
