The prices are a little steep, but the food is delicious. There are more food options than what is shown on the dinner menu, so be sure to look at the table book for more options. The tomato basil soup is excellent! And the desserts were absolutely divine!!!

After having a a ginormous brunch, wanted to go somewhere to relax and wind down with a view. Ended up here. Thanks to Unilocal,I learned you get free parking if you dine at the restaurant for up to two hours. All you need is write your licence plate number on the clipboard when you arrive at the restaurant. I didn’t have any food so take this review with a grain salt. Had a pitcher of beer on the patio which has an umbrella on the table, perfect for shading. It’s a very nice view and even beats the Flying Beaver imho because it doesn’t have aircrafts and people noise. It’s not as busy here which makes it super relaxing. Service is decent, but the great downside is that everything is rather pricy. But that may be the premium you pay when the restaurant is connected to a hotel. Nevertheless, I’ll still be back once in a while.

I have eaten here many times because I often stay at the hotel. The food has definitely improved, as have staff attitudes. Service can still be very inconsistent. Moved three times to get servuce, but third time was a charm. Server was charming and considerate of my food allergy. Had three course meal for amazing price. smoked salmon with radish, yogurt on flat bread… DELICIOUS, Halibut salad… serving dish did not do it justice… quite large, and then a bonus desert!!! blueberry pear crumble with ice cream. nice view on the water, nice ambience… not too noisy. enjoyable meal overall… glad I changed tables and didn’t just leave.

The restaurant is attached to Pacific Gateway Hotel in Richmond with ample parking space. No need to pay, but be sure to register your license plate at the front so you don’t get ticketed. The location is right beside the water, and the inside is very spacious. Lots of windows to let in natural lighting. The staff was able to seat 12 of us comfortably. Before I get to the food, I just want to say that the hostess was great. But the waiter we had was terrible. It took about 10 – 15 mins for him to get to us before he offered us drinks. And he was very abrasive. We had to flag him down all throughout the dinner just to get him to pay attention to us. He forgot one of our desserts towards the end. I hope he’s thankful for the 18% grat that was automatically added. He did not deserve it. The food was hit or miss. We ordered calamari and mussels et frites(with white wine sauce) to start, and they were pretty decent. Nothing mind blowing. The fish and chips were good! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Lots of tartar sauce. Smell was also delicious. My recommendation is get the Seafood Salad. You will not be disappointed. Delicious medley of citrus, seafood and greens. It was great! I also got 1 order of the fish taco. For $ 4.50, it was pretty filling! But again, nothing mind blowing. However, the burgers were kind of… meh. My bf’s salmon burger was a disappointment. For $ 17, go to Cactus Club. For desserts, we ordered a caramel cake with chocolate gelato, and it was so good! Not as sweet as I thought(which is good for me, I’m not big on sweets) and shareable between me and my boyfriend. We also ordered«Cheesecake in a Jar» which is exactly how it sounds, but it was pretty average. And we ordered 6 tarts to share. Mind you, this tarts were roughly the size of a 2 bite brownie, and they were alright as well. Nothing too spectacular.

I arrived at 11:30 in the evening and was hesitant going to a restaurant so late. At this time most restaurant staff are just thinking about going home. Not here. The waitress was positively cheerful and the bar tenders joyfully plied their trade serving out some excellent and reasonably priced ales. I ordered the calamari which was exquisitely prepared and arrived perfectly cooked. A jumbled mess of finely cut vegetables and lightly battered tentacles; it was masterly perfumed with an original blend of spices and topped off with strands of lemony rind. Certainly the finest calamari I have eaten in a very long time. A gem of a find.

Slow service. Expensive food. I would not recommend this place unless you stay at Delta hotel next to the airport.
