The Dr Cheng is very honest. Good karma will come his way. I scratched my eye and went to visit him today. He could have taken my $ 75 for an eye exam. I gave him the money in cash but after the exam to my surprise he gave me my money back and told me it was covered under medical. One of the most honest things I’ve ever seen. So now I have to give him a great review for that. He’s a good man. He’s a good example of someone that did the right thing in that moment. I would recommend him to my friends for doing that.

I’m hoping I got the correct optometrist. I feel compelled to review the gentleman who fixed my glasses… for free! I walked around to look for a drug store to buy a nose piece to fix the one that had fallen off, and I had just about given up when I looked up and, pla-dow, it was an optometrist’s office. Cue angels. I asked the the young man if he had a piece to fix my glasses, and, note, that it wasn’t just that missing nose pad piece, the plastic holding the nose pad actually broke in half. Anyway, he took my glasses from me. While I was waiting, I looked around the store, making sure to remain close to the edges of the room so as to avoid being in any sort of harm’s way. Without my glasses, I can barely see anything. I have always maintained that if I lost my glasses while walking around alone in an unknown city, I would just sit down and wait… to be saved. So, the glasses that I managed to come within 6 inches of looked cute, and the prices seemed very reasonable. 5 minutes later he called me over and showed me that he had fixed my nose piece thingy and replaced the other one as well with a fresh new pad. I was happy to not have to have a piece of hard plastic digging into my skin anymore. Nice guy.
