This store is now called «Metro» so don’t look for Loeb any longer!
It’s open 24 hours so if you’re a shift worker or forget something anytime of day or night, they’re here for you! This store is much like an independent grocer. They are always trying to keep the store neat, clean, and well-​ordered. I find the staff friendly and helpful. They often have specials so be sure to check the aisles for good deals. Their fruit and vegetables are very fresh. They also carry the ginger beer that I like so much, but it’s located at the front of the store against the wall in front of the check-​out counters. (It’s the Old Style stubbie bottled Jamaican Ginger Beer).
Parking is tight during peak shopping times, so be patient. I like that they still have plastic carriers to do your shopping with – oh! and normal sized shopping carts — not those big ones that fit a gazzilion green bins as if you’re shopping for the Brady family.
A nice store in a great and accessible location off Island Park Drive. If you’re tired of the Superstore way of things, c’mon down!
