I had my nipples pierced at Skintricate by Anna, as well as a piercing change. From the moment I walked in I loved the place! Very clean, welcoming, well decorated, very aesthetically pleasing. As for the actual piercing, Anna walked me through everything she was doing, the protocol for cleaning needles and jewelry, and ensured that the placing of the piercing was perfect. Unfortunately I’m a bit of a wimp and almost fainted, but Anna gave me a drink and helped me wake up.
As for the piercing change, I was a bit surprised that they charged $ 5. I also seem to have come at the wrong time, as I had to wait about 2 hours due to a scheduling mishap. To make up for this, they gave me a free piercing change so I guess it was ok.
For those looking for tattoos, the boys at Skintricate were very entertaining and welcoming. I had a good careful look at their portfolios during my 2 hour wait, and I’ve heard amazing things. I look forward to returning for my future piercings and ultimately my first tattoo very soon!
