The review applies to the optometric office at LensCrafters! I have had such an awful experience with this particular location! So the first time I went for lens fitting, I was given EXPIRED lens that caused irritation in my eyes! I went back and was given another trial by Dr. To however I noticed blurry eyes with this particular lens! I went today and discussed my concern with the owner Dr Chiu! She is the most arrogant and ignorant person I ever met! She disregard my concern and instead of offering a solution to my concern which was blurry vision with this current lenses, she abandon me as the patient by simply refunding me the lens fitting cost! What kind of ignorant doctor does that!!! She simply said I’m unhappy with their service and shud find another ophthalmologist! She disregard my concern and got rid of me instead! She told me that I need to start from scratch! Thanks for wasting my time then! Stop giving your patient expired lenses so all this could have been avoided!

I have been going to this branch for years. They have a good selection of glasses. The pre-sales/sales service is pretty high quality. However, the after sales(e.g. repairs) needs improvement. I purchased a pair of Ray Ban glasses a few months ago. Unfortunately, one of the screws came off so I went back to LensCrafters to ask if it can be fixed. The lady assisting me was very nice but couldn’t really give much assistance. First thing she asked was if I purchased the insurance. I said no. From there on, there wasn’t really anything much she could do. She said I can try to google the model(she pointed at the model number found on the side of the eyeglasses) and see if I can purchase the screw from the Internet. She said it should not be expensive. She then added that once I have acquired the screw, I can come back to have them install it. She then mentioned that if I had purchased the insurance, it would have covered the deficiency. I get the point. I should have purchased the insurance however, I feel that the store should also at least make an effort to train their staff on how to assist customers who didn’t. So I left the store with my damaged eyeglasses and went to the website of Ray Ban. I sent a email to the company about the lost screw. I got redirected a few times but finally got in touch with the right person. I sent a pic of the eyeglasses with the missing screw. He sent me a replacement screw via express shipping. I got the screw last week.

I really enjoyed my experience with Lens Crafters in Square One. Their staff was so friendly and helpful. They let me leisurely shop without being too in my face, yet they still provided some suggestions based on the things I was looking for. When I was stuck between 2 frames, they were honest and gave friendly advice. On the particular day I went, their computer systems were down across Canada. Because of that, they put everything on sale for 50% off! Talk about customer experience in times of trouble. I couldn’t resist and got 2 pairs. They were ready within a week and the staff were so helpful in adjusting them — even when I came back the next day with more picky fixes. Would recommend this location to anyone. NOTE: I used to be an online glasses purchaser, but I’ve come to realize buying glasses in person is the way to go. Not only is the quality better, but you get it catered to your head. It definitely is more expensive, but after having 2 pairs crack and break on me within 2 weeks from an online store, I realize the value and difference. You get what you pay for!

Lenscrafters at Square One has the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever experienced at an eyeglass store. One employee that stands out is the retail manager, Carol, She has helped my husband and I purchase many pairs of sunglasses and also our eyeglasses. She always seems to know what style of sunglasses will suit our face and also knows what we are looking for. Every time we visit the store, one of us leaves with a pair of sunglasses. I do like their one hour service when getting glasses and they were extremely helpful when my recently purchased eyeglasses started to crack around the frames.
