Let down on Christmas. I will not be shopping there again. I purchased a sweater at the store on the 21st, but I needed a different size for my fiancé. They assured me it would be in by the 23rd, but the 24th at the very latest. I heard nothing from them, so I called in on the 24th. The item had not even left the original store. I asked for a refund over the phone as I am only visiting Canada and don’t have time. I was told that this wasn’t possible. I asked to speak with the manager and was put on hold. I asked the second person for the refund again, explaining my situation, assuming he was the manager. He apologized for not knowing how to do this as he had just started that week. He said for me to hold and he would consult the manager. The manager was able to refund over the phone. Both the original sales person, and the first employee I spoke to on the phone let me down. Oddly enough the employee who had only been there a week was the most helpful. That kind of service is unacceptable from any place, but much less from a place that aligns itself with luxury brands. You do not buy luxury only for the name or quality, you absolutely buy it for the service it comes with. Absolute disappointment.

I’ve been shopping at Harry Rosen since I started grade 9(I know). Since that time I’ve built quite a rapport with almost every sales associate who’s there and gone through their doors. Even before that I’ve never understood while people say they have bad customer service; based on my experience they have the best! Besides their service, their clothing selection is phenomenal, if style is your thing then you should shop here!

I would expect sales staff on cellphone at a low end store but not Harry Rosen. Walked into Hugo Boss store on April 25 and sales woman(didn’t catch name but older and very blonde) was standing in middle of store looking at her cellphone. She briefly asked if we needed help with her nose in her phone, we said just looking and she said to ask her if we needed help, all the while looking at the screen of her phone. Quickly looked around and went next door(didn’t realize Hugo boss and Harry Rosen are connected). Took a quick look here too but didn’t see suits I was specifically shopping for. Another sales women asked if I needed help and I asked her if they had light summer suits. Well, the blonde sales women from next door comes walking through and throws her arms out palms out and makes a shocked sound, like what the hell are we doing asking someone else for help, she gives my wife the nasty stare down. I just have to say, as a sales manager for a major tour operator, managing 7 staff, if this was my sales reps’ idea of how to offer service I would be sending them in for some major training. If you can’t be bothered to show us that you genuinely want to offer us help because your Facebook or whatever is more important then don’t expect us to offer you commission on the sale, and for sure do t turn around and make us feel like we slighted you. Unbelievable! On the flip side though, head up to Harry Rosen Outlet Brittania Rd. and ask for Mohit Goraya. He is perfect example of a great sales person. Not too pushy and extremely attentive. Going back today to purchase suit and partly due to his excellent service.

High end shopper beware… THISSTOREISFORYOU!!! This is a ultra high end store in Square one located near Rich tree, provides office wear to normal wear and you can find everyone’s favorite these day canada goose jackets there as well. As mentioned earlier its expensive and they need you money :). the store is kept clean and the staff is friendly as the price you pay requires that from them. So do check it out and see if you like it.

Take my money, all of it, I want you to. The only place worth shopping for clothes. They’ve got all your favorite brands. Hugo, Armani, Burberry, Varvatos, Versace, you name it. Don’t forget your credit card, it’s going to hurt.
