Food was very good. Decent sized portions. I really liked the beef vindaloo. Spicy yet not overpowering. Very clean upscale atmosphere. Friendly staff, they came over when my partner had an issue with her drink and they resolved it right away.

The patio is beautiful and the interior design of the restaurant is gorgeous! It’s a good place to get a drink. The 2 stars is for the food.

I have been to Moxie’s more than once and this visit was just as I expected. I had the White Zin Sangria and it was delicious. An excellent size compared to other sangrias I have had at other places. The amount of fruit in the glass was also impressive. I ordered the Turkey Club, which was average. I have had turkey sandwiches with a LOT more meat on it. They did however remember to omit tomatoes and the fries were delicious. Other than that I really don’t have anything bad to say but nothing really stood out either. The restaurant itself is clean and quite pretty. Also, they will validate your parking if you park in the IMPark lot behind the restaurant and bring your ticket.

The establishment and building is made out of an old bank. You’d never be able to tell that now. The inside is exceptionally decorated. The new patio is equipped with a bar, tv’s and hear lamps. The servers are attractive, and reasonably friendly, and this is what Moxies is known for. The food is the weak point. It’s re-heated frozen food like most chain restaurants. Dressed up a little fancier, and old at a higher price. If you want atmosphere and location, here you go. If you want top quality food, you’re better off at The Tasting Room, or Garlics.

Enjoyed a great meal. We had the honey garlic steak — rare, tuna salad, and ribs. Only complaint was the small martini; best to order a double.

Absolutely beautiful patio. Really friendly staff. The perfect environment to go for drinks on a summer evening.

Food is salty, fairly priced but really salty. I understand they need to sell the drinks but I need to keep my heart pumping for a bit longer please? Anyway if you are interested in watching the waitresses in super(I mean super) short skirts you should definitely visit. Once I saw a waitress sitting on an old guy’s lap, guess you’d do anything for tips.(sorry that was judgmental)

Appearance: The restaurant is attached to a shopping centre so curb appeal is seriously compromisedm. A view of the parking lot from the outside deck isn’t much of a selling feature either. That said the interior is slick and modern. Tables are well spaced and the bar adds an important visual element. Food: They present an upscale menu but serve only slightly above average food. Portions were all substantial and not a single one of the guest had any complaints about their meal: nor did they really have any compliments. Service: Once again merely average service. After presenting our meal, our waiter disappeared for some time. That would really be our only complaint though. With just one more element exceeding expectations, I would have bumped up to a four star, but Moxie’s failed to surpass in any category.

This location makes parking a nuisance, but the décor is swanky and they do their best to accommodate food intolerance/allergies. The service wasn’t especially friendly, but I’ve certainly had worse. I’ve been here 3 or 4 times and the food quality is consistent. It’s not terribly exciting but it’s probably better than many other chain restaurants. Food presentation is elegant and the drinks menu is decent. Bathrooms are 5⁄5 stars all the way!

Oh man, back at school and left without the cornucopia of choices possible in Toronto. I tried the combo platter and well, the wings were ok, bread sticks ok, heavy batter on the chicken fingers and soggy calmari. Horrible. The service is slow, the waitress’s seem to be talking to each other all the time but no where to be found when I want to order. Inexperience is the greatest struggle for this mediocre restaurant.

Only been here once and it was a good experience overall. As reviewer Shaun R mentions, the décor is really nice inside and the servers are very attractive, both of which make for pleasant viewing. Our servers were very polite and took my allergies into serious consideration which was nice. We had the bread with 3 dips as an appetizer which was good but nothing overly exciting. My main was the herb oven roasted chicken with goat cheese, wild rice pilaf, and vegetables(mine was broccoli). The chicken was nicely moist and tender and it was nicely enhanced by the herbed goat cheese(nicely tangy). The wild rice pilaf was serviceable and the broccoli was a little overcooked but I’d rather have slightly overcooked broccoli rather than undercooked. The dessert was the highlight of the meal as we had the tasting trio which consisted of a white chocolate brownie(didn’t try that one), chocolate espresso mousse(nicely strong and rich with a smooth texture), and sticky toffee pudding(terrific). A good experience overall on many different levels.

To echo some others, the waitstaff is attractive, but they do have an attitude. The manager and chef came to our table to address our allergy concerns and they were GREAT. The food was good, not great. The prices were high given the quality and quantity of food.

When I first thought about going to Moxie’s I had the impression that it was going to be way to overpriced meals and small portions. but with my recent trip here I was pleasantly surprised, it is almost the exact opposite of that. First off it’s downtown so the parking is crap but they do have some kind of validating thing I’m pretty sure. When you walk through the doors you are immediatly greeted by eye candy everywhere. If it’s not from the cute girls in stripper dresses as waitresses it’s the absolutly beautiful décor! I mean wow this place looks nice and there are big booth’s everywhere with a lounge as well! We came in on a Monday night(P.S $ 3.99 pints of beer special on Mondays) and we were immediatly greeted at the door and brought to our table. It wasn’t too busy at all but we did come around 630. Almost right after that our waitress came to the table for drink and app orders. The service was very quick and friendly, always around to bring whatever you need from more drinks to more kethup. I ended up ordering the veal & pancetta burger from the new spring menu and I’m so happy I did because it was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly cooked, very tender and juicy, and it came with the usual burger toppings but with chipotle aoli sauce which was amazing! My girlfriend had the seafood linguine and I tried a little bit of it and I must say it tasted amazing as well, I would definatly get that the next time, or any pasta for that matter they all sounded soo good, lol. The prices arn’t outrages either, I mean the service is excellent, the décor and atmosphere is top notch, it’s located right downtown on Richmond st. The waitresses are smokin hot and the food tastes amazingly good! What’s not to love about moxies if you ask me? The only thing I notcied is the steaks looked a little overpriced, but other than that this place is top notch for a casual dining experience.
