Willy’s Pizza

We were in search of a new pizza delivery option as our local favourite recently closed. The sauce was great, not overpowering. We’ll definitely order from Willy’s again.

Can’t say I’ve ever had such a heavy and thick pizza that wasn’t deep dish. Lots of cheese, thick, fluffy crust, perfect amount of sauce to compliment it all. The garlic dipping sauce is fresh, which is excellent if you like garlic. Just moved to Ottawa but this may be my go to.

We’ve tried all the various take-​out and delivery pizzas in the area, but keep coming back to Willy’s as the very best. Thick, fluffy crust, fresh toppings, tangy sauce, and lots & lots of cheese.
No restaurant; take-​out or delivery only, and the staff are friendly. Delivery usually takes 45 minutes or less, but can be longer on special event nights or bad weather.

We typically order from Joe’s Pizza, House of Pizza on Richmond Rd. doesn’t deliver our way… so sad… but my gf found Willy’s Pizza on Unilocal.5 stars by Unilocalers, pretty rare… so we decided to try it out.
I ordered at 5:56 and was told 45 min. to an hour… pretty standard line, no problem.
So as I sit right now it’s 7:39 and no pizza yet, they called 10 min and said their driver was in a car accident… apparently the driver is fine, a small fender bender… I hope it will be here soon and really, really good.
I ordered a medium with pep, bacon, onion, mushroom, and half pineapple… and we also went for the sweet and spicy wings
well 2hrs later it arrived… cooked well and although the bacon looks cool lying on top — i’m not a fan of it served like that as you only get 3 bites with bacon and then it’s gone… cook real bacon and then crumble it on top.
the sauce was ok, the sauce sets great pizza apart… I think it’s homemade but it’s very tomatoey… almost like canned sauce.
I still say House of Pizza is the best, and we are going to do a pick up this week just to confirm they still got it.
I will forgive the extreme tardiness of this order based on the «car accident».

Amazing medium/​thick crust pizza.
Fresh made dough, sauce and high quality cheese = recipe for success. This pizza isn’t cheap so if you’re looking for bargain-​basement prices, look elsewhere.
Pizza has always been flawless. Once, a side of zucchini sticks was forgotten but it was promptly remedied… Hey, it’s a pizza joint, and we were ordering on a Friday at 6: it happens!
Again, I have to stress freshly made. If you appreciate quality, you’ll dig! The flavors are fantastic.

The service and food are amazing. This Willy’s is takeout & delivery only.
The pizzas are flavorful and loaded with toppings.
I’m not sure what else to say about it. I used to order from other places, but now this is the only pizza place I use.

My personal favorite pizza in Ottawa. Gabriel’s would be second. Willys has loads of really good toppings, good crust (not too heavy). If you want an awesome pizza go to Willys!

The pizza is always great! Nothing beats their ‘hot and honey’ wings. Price is more than fair, and delivery is quick. One of the top pizza places in Ottawa-​West for sure!
