I stopped going here. There is nothing more unappealing than lining up forever only to get inside and realizing that the bar is barely half full and that the line was just for show. When it does fill up the place is so tight and poorly laid out that it is near impossible to move around without bumping into people and spilling your drink everywhere. The band on Friday is good but many of the other bands on other nights of the week suck and the DJ on Saturday plays the exact same songs every week at ear piercing levels from tinny speakers. No room to move let alone dance. Dirty washrooms. Line ups to get on the patio to smoke. Pretty much standing room only. Perfect if you like drinking in a sardine can unable to move. Why is it so popular again? P. s. $ 7 for a tall can is unacceptable. What a gouge. Its Hamilton. They must think they are situated in Manhattan or perhaps the South of France with those prices.

This review is for the grilled cheese sandwiches alone. Thats right, this place gets 5 stars for a sandwich! it was literally the best grilled cheese i have ever had. I had attempted to go here for lunch a few times after hearing recommendations about their grilled cheese. but it was randomly always closed at lunchtime! finally it was open and my expectations were exceeded.
The inside seems like a typical dive bar, but the sidewalk patio area is really nice. I can’t comment on much besides the grilled cheese, but i would go back some evening as they have live music every day.
