I apparently made the horrendous mistake of calling this store when the one I was looking for was METRO CARE AND SHARE. The female employee who initially answered the phone was attempting to be helpful in directing me to the store I was in search of when the phone was obviously snatched out of her hand so the person that took the phone from her, (she identified herself as the owner), could abruptly tell me they knew nothing about the other Thrift Store, except to say they were certain that they didn’t have a phone and proceeded to hang up on me! I have never been to this store and you can bet now that I never will be… b**ch, no need of such blatant ignorance. I would give this store NO STARS!

I love this shop. You can easily forget you’re in a thrift store. The clothing is hung up colour blocked and on trend for the up coming season. It’s clean and cozy, and they carrying only carefully chosen quality thrift goods. You can also find beautiful hand crafted jewellery from Canadian Artist. I went here last week, to consign some clothing. The process at this store is a little different. They outright buy your items, or give you the option of a store credit for a bit more. I sold three items, with the choice of $ 15 or a store credit of $ 30. Of course I took the store credit, and picked out an amazing Madewell button up.

This is easily the best second hand store in town. It’s so fresh and all the looks are curated and colour blocked throughout the shop. You can always find a treasure for yourself or a gift for someone else. Fantastic selection of jewelry including local designers. It’s a mix of higher end, classics and hard to find items. Being a man I wish they had more room for a permanent men’s section but the pop up shops are great for now. I have so far found a retro jean jacket I won’t stop wearing anytime soon along with other great items. They have events and sales often and be sure to follow their Instagram account for updates. The product is always changing so check out this gem often. Love having this little shop in our neighbourhood.
