Southwest Edmonton Farmer’s Market

This is an okay market. I’m happy to have a market in my neighborhood, and there are specific vendors I do enjoy…
Bully Food Truck
Holden Colony (great fresh veggies)
Sun works Organic Farm (meats)
Violet Chocolate Company (local, highly awarded chocolatier).
However, there isn’t much else here that peaks my interest. There’s the funny greek guy that always wants everyone to try his tzatziki.
I noticed this year there are parking lot attendants, who I sure hope are not paid because they don’t do anything to help with the traffic congestion, and don’t really pay that much attention to what is going on. The market is a lot busier this year than it was last year.
Overall, it’s a good neighborhood market, but if you are looking for variety you should checkout Collingwood or downtown 104 street.

This farmers market is amazing! A great mix of vendors… produce, jewelry, food trucks, baked goods and more! Lots of free parking. The marketing team has weekly themes and a Sprouts program for kids to get them buying healthy snacks!
