With a name like ‘Wild Earth’ and a café with homemade products, I thought for sure this place would be more of a natural food store, but was saddened to find out otherwise. It isnt the worst place I’ve been to, its just disappointing that I expected it to be more than what it really was. I was hoping for it to be all Organic however, its just another small grocery store that offers both Organic and GMO options. I’m also not a fan that they sell cigarettes.

I really like Wild Earth Foods! I live nearby and it’s nice to have a locally owned grocery store nearby for your impromptu needs. They carry Irvings Farm meat, which is important to me because I try to source my meat locally whenever possible. They also have Pinocchio Ice Cream which is the BEST local ice cream! And also just the best! I wish they had a better cheese selection but I understand that it’s probably the lack of options that they can carry. This grocery store just takes ya back to a time where Big Grocery didn’t run our lives with their strategically arranged products. Nah mean? I like that.

Wild Earth Foods is a fantastic independent grocery store! As mentioned by other reviewers, the store is smaller than your typical chain grocery store, but it stocks the important items. I am happy to see that Wild Earth Foods carries a decent selection of local items at reasonable prices(including my favorite ice cream and perogies)! Some of the produce is less expensive than bigger grocery stores, but some of the grocery items are pricier. The shop sells items in smaller quantity(e.g., small trays of grapes, single kiwis, small bags of peas), making it a great stop if you’re in the area and need lunch or a snack, but less suitable if you buy a lot of produce and like to buy in bulk. I am amused by the receipts, which automatically organize your purchase by section(e.g., produce, grocery, etc) making it easy to find items. I visit this shop regularly and love it!

I love shopping here! Not only is it a 3 minute walk from my place but the staff are friendly and actually talk with you. Aside from the prices being a bit high, I will continue to shop locally. They carry a decent sized selection of gluten free product for those of you with an allergy. They also have some pretty yummy and unique dry pastas go buy. This store is more for that«I only need a few things» trip, not the monthly trip. I have no complaints! Only praise!

Wild Earth, you are our favourite grocery store. Not only are you on our way home from work, you are a jewel in terms of quality and price for fresh items. This place has fantastic produce and fresh meats for reasonable prices. Their chicken breasts are the best in the city, and a fraction of the price of those from our butchers. They carry a lot of organic products(which I am usually skeptical of, due to the majority not really being organic and certainly not locally sourced, as per many studies) but Wild Earth actually attempts to carry local when possible and tries to set out certified organic. Mushrooms and asparagus are two regular items we purchase here. Not only that, but they carry a lot of their own Café’s baked products(their Jalapeño Cheddar pull apart is to die for) and they also carry Italian Bakery bread, hamburger and hot dog buns, etc. for the cheapest I have seem them. You may pay a bit more for canned or packaged goods than you would at Save On Foods or the Superstore, but this place is fantastic for everything else. According to its website, it’s a third generation owned indy grocer(support local!) and there is plenty of free parking off 99th street on the side of the store.

It’s not quite supermarket-sized, but it stocks pretty much anything you can find in a supermarket. While prices are expensive for many typical supermarket items, such as Yogurt or Orange Juice, the produce is both inexpensive and of high quality. They also sell free range eggs for $ 3.99/dozen. Service is friendly and helpful — which is essential when you are exploring a grocery store for the first time.
