The store is owned and run by a tall, 30 – 40 yr old man and he ALWAYS seems to be working there. Gotta love a place where the owner is hands on. Been coming here since December 2014 when I moved back to Edmonton. He is always friendly and helpful! The moment I ask for a Gluten Free item he is pulling out the GF list to tell me about all the new items that are safe for me. Usually I have ask the staff at other locations for the list they tell me to review it myself they never actually help me. Bought $ 125 worth of GF stuff should be good for a few months.

I don’t often shop at M&M Meat Shops. But once it a while I do to put into my freezer those meals I can fall back on when I need a quick dinner. M&M Meat Shops sells prepared meals, chicken, beef, pork, fish, seafood, appetizers, party platters, veggies and potatoes, pasta, pizza and desserts. I have bought chicken and fish here in the past and haven’t been too impressed with the quality. The chicken was rubbery and the fish old tasting. It’s nice to have frozen chicken breasts ready to roll but I’m not heading back to M&M Meat Shops anytime soon for theirs. However, their prepare foods like their pizzas and pasta are quite good. And their meat ball appetizers are very tasty. Don’t forget to pick up dipping sauces for them! Their frozen beans are nice as well. Once steamed they taste as close to garden fresh as possible(yes, I know garden fresh as I grew up on a farm and grew up on garden produce). I chuckle to myself every to go in as the store reminds me of a fast good outlet. You look through the items on the menu above the counter and then place your order. I guess I’m just used to shopping with a cart and putting my own selections into it. Oh well, it’s kind of fun to shop in a different manner. Give M&M Meat Shops a try, especially for their party platters and prepared dishes.
