I wish I can give this place a rating of 0. The owners are two very nice, friendly women. However, my hair is permanently damaged and friendliness isn’t going to fix it. I went to this salon just over a year ago and had several services. I regret every single one. My mother also got a colouring service. She also was not pleased. I’ll start with myself. I got my hair coloured(full head), cut, and the keratin straightening treatment(which either has been re-named or removed from their website). The colour looked good after I got it and the hair cut was not bad either. Two weeks later, the colour had washed out(after only 2 washes– I wash my hair once a week). Then when my hair started to grow out, it looked like a 5 year old took some scissors and just made crazy, random layers. I had NEVER had this problem when I got my hair cut before. It was horrible. Everyone kept asking me what the heck happened. This was NOTHING compared to the results of the straightening treatment though. The straightening treatment is supposed to make your hair straight, as the name suggests, but also keep it strong(keratin). My hair is wavy, nothing crazy. My hair looked fine after the treatment, and I received the surprise after my first wash. My hair was burnt like crispy bacon! It was beyond damaged, I had literally never seen hair so damaged in my entire life. I wish I had taken photos. I was so embarrassed that I had to straighten it if I wanted to go out. When I went to different salons to try to fix the damage, other customers and hairstylists would stare and their jaw drops after my hair was washed/wet. Everyone would ask me what on earth I did to my hair. You can imagine how humiliating that was. I let the girl who performed the service know. She said that’s strange since all her other clients had no problems. I don’t know if its true or not, but I don’t care either. I care about what happened to MY hair. I expected a huge apology and for them to fix this problem. She did offer to fix the problem, but didn’t apologize. They did NOTHING about it either. They had offered to do one, I repeat ONE, deep conditioning treatment. They never bothered booking me in. Anyway, the treatment would have done nothing. I spent hundreds of dollars trying to fix it, and even did at home treatments. Nothing worked. In the end I was forced to cut off all my hair, boy-length. Every-time it grew out, I had to get it cut because it was still damaged. To this day my hair is still damaged, don’t ask me how since its new growth. I have no idea what she put on my head that day. It looks and feels 5000000x better though, so I’m glad. My mother had her roots coloured, and she wasn’t pleased before we even got out of the salon. The woman had missed a bunch of grey hairs. What is the point in getting her roots done, if you’re going to leave a bunch? The colour also washed out within two weeks like mine did. We spent almost $ 300 on all that, including a generous tip. Absolutely would NEVER recommend, and would advice you to stay FAR away!
