I wouldn’t recommend going to this clinic for anything more than picking up a doctor’s note or prescription. This place can get pretty packed from time to time and the clientele/area is a bit rough, so I can certainly understand that the staff might not always be peppy and super friendly, but based on my experience with the reception staff, they seem a little unorganized, impatient and generally lacking the knowledge and follow-up communication skills. In my case, I had a heck of a time trying to confirm the status of my referral and appointment with a specialist. Don’t ever assume that they’ll remember to «get back to you»; the specialty clinic I was referred to could only make appointment by talking with the clinic staff directly, but I ended up having to make multiple calls between the two clinics to figure out what was happening. The receptionist at this clinic would tell me one thing, and when I called the specialty clinic to confirm that, I’d find out that it wasn’t entirely true and there was this and that that my clinic was supposed to do. I’m sure the reception staff mean well and I understand that there are information delays, but the communication was never completely clear and I felt like the responsibility fell on me to stay on top of things and resolve discrepancies, and that was a little stressful. The pharmacists are great, while the physicians are hit and miss.

The waiting room was loud and echo-y. that wa the worst of it. when i got to the exam room the doc was right there, she was patient and waited for me to stop coughing to answer her questions. didn’t seem like long and she seem to think it may be asthma or related and gave me some stuff. one hour later i can breathe again for the fist time in 2months.

I’ve been here a few times now: twice as a walk-in and got in fairly quickly; once as an appointment and the doctor was late so I didn’t get in until 30 minutes past my appointment time. The doctors were kind and thorough, and the reception staff is friendly as well. I like that it’s close to home and they are open evening and weekends. Too many signs everywhere, though… that sort of junks the place up. But I’m not there to read the excessive signage and rules, I’m there to see a doctor :)
