Skewers were great. The portion is huge. Dinner menu is not bad for the price. But theres one thing i didnt like much is when i ordered an extra fried egg with my meal the waitress doesnt seem to know if the chef will accommodate my request and were told she have to ask first. Cause according to her what i ordered doesnt come with it. But come on! Its just an extra fried egg lol. Anyhow she came back and ask me how I want my egg done I said over easy and she looks at me like she doesn’t seem to know what I’m talking about. So then my meal came with the egg yayyy! But I’m very disappointed to learn that it is not over easy but over cooked. I wanted to tell them so bad about the issue. But I chose to just not make such a big deal about it. Its my First time going to this place last night. But I guess I am willing to give it another try.

Came here last night because a friend wanted a late night eat. It is good Coquitlam is getting more late night food places. This place opens till 1AM and sells a Zabu Chicken(Robson Korean Chicken place) type of food. So if you want very well flavored fried or grilled chicken, this place is the place to come to. The only downside is it is quite pricey. Considering they don’t give you a LARGE amount for 21 bucks. I think they could at least make it around the 17 – 18 dollar range for the amount of chicken they give you. The appetizers, they could add kimchi or some other korean appetizers as well. Regardless, I think if I am in the mood to chow down on some fatty chicken I will come here.

Tasted really GOOD but SUPER spicy. i like spicy food but i could only finish half the meal when i went with my mom(we ordered a grilled chicken whole — forget the name, but it came with ddobbeokki). we ordered the regular and not spicy but i think he must’ve thought we ordered spicy. but SERVICE was really GREAT! However, the place is not for me… way too loud with k-pop music. The place is more themed for highschoolers.

Skewers were great. The house skewer is a selection of their other skewers. The rice cakes are nicely crispy on the outside and the sauce is great. The chicken skewer and shrimp skewer were both good too. The beef skewer wasn’t good. The bacon was okay. The rib dinner was okay. Maybe I’m just tired of ribs, but I wasn’t thrilled. The fries weren’t super special. They are fries with melted cheese and diced tomatoes. But all of that was more than enough for two people. Total $ 38 + tip

This was a great find in our area, we couldn’t believe we hadn’t gone before. We tried the vesta spicy grilled chicken and the pork rib dinner. Both were great although the chicken was our favourite. The spicy rice cake that came with each was a bit different but both very good as well. Serving sizes were definitely generous, I have to agree with the other reviewers here. There are many dishes we want to go back and try so we are very happy this place is close to us. The atmosphere is also really good — very clean, modern look and the service was great(even though the guy was clearly getting swamped). Will definitely go back regularly.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS. I LIVEFORTHISPLACE. I was introduced to Vesta Grill in the summer by a close friend. She swore by this place and told me how much her entire family loved it and I’ve seen her posting instagram pictures of the food here before and I’ve been dying to try it out ever since. The restaurant is tucked behind a strip mall with a few other small Korean establishments but the storefront was very clean and new, pretty surprising for a plae that serves barbecue and skewers. Oh and did I mention that they have free wi-fi too? YEAP. The waitress was very friendly even though she was the only person working with customers that evening and groups kept on coming in. Service was good and no-hassle efficient, which is something I always enjoy. The clientele was mostly Korean(around 90% Korean I think) but I can definitely see people of all different cultural backgrounds and food preferences enjoying this place. Now down to the food. I’d describe this place as a casual dining, fast food, Korean-Western fusion barbecue sort of place(or maybe it’s a new type of Korean cuisine that’s been popular in Korea? Idno I’m so uncultured urgh) but they serve predominantly cooked barbecue dishes like grilled meats and skewers with traditional Korean hotpot on the side. My friend who’s a frequent customer ordered the large house skewers with Vesta fries(cheese fries with tomatoes) and LAWDWASITGOOD. HUNTY I don’t consider myself the biggest fan of skewers or barbecue but I’ve been thinking about the food there ever since. It sucks that I don’t live in the area anymore or else I’d be back ALLTHETIME. Seriously the skewers were well-cooked(not too dry or burnt), very flavorful and juicy and the combination of bacon, asparagus and Korean rice cakes is just HEAVENLY. TL;DR: this place is awesome and y’all are missing out if you don’t try it out. For now I shall remain on my search for a Vesta Grill-type restaurant down south in the Bay… :(Yes that’s how much I love this place.

CANADIANKOREANFUSION& pure Korean too. You can take anyone with you and enjoy your Korean food. Server, Jay, is extremely attentive in the minimal Korean way — PERFECT! Chicken salad is amazing, yet simple. Try the rice roll skewers for a chewy snack. Korean food has textures which many cultural foods ignore — VESTA is amazing and wants to please. Prices are very reasonable. Avoid ONLY the squid(tough)and pork hock — even too spicy for me and I like CRAZYSPICY… and I have been all through the menu. Chicken — any which way — is fantastic. No disappointment here.

I heard from a friend that this is a great place to get fried chicken so I went for a pickup. I came home with a box of fried chicken from there and had a couple cans of beer — it was perfect! Servers were very nice when receiving my order.

Tried this restaurant about a month ago with no expectations. The food was very tasty and the portions are huge. The price is a little bit high, however. The ambience is nice and quiet. The bench seats are heated, which was a nice touch on the cold night that we went.
