I love going to this place on a Friday or Saturday night. 1.The beer is fairly well priced. 2. The Zymeta Video Jukebox isn’t as good as the one at The Leather Pocket Pool Hall, but, it works well. 3. The past few times that I have been here, a DJ was playing some good stuff. Ok, so first with the good. 1. They have a couple bar boxes(3.5′ x 7′) and I believe, seven 4′ x 8′ tables. 2. The bar staff is very friendly, and are knowledgeable of pool(league players) 3. There is a good amount of distance between the tables, with only minimal space issues. 4. The tables are Red felt with Black bumpers. I thought it would throw off my game, but the tables are in good contition(with the odd pocket holes), fairly well level, and the rails have GREAT action. 5. If you are a regular, the guy behind the bar will sometimes pour you a shot or two, on the house. Not many places do this, and it’s a very nice gesture. Now for the bad. I only have one, and it is a minor issue. 1. Holes in pockets. I know, it’s a bar, and things get trashed… but every time I stop by, I am always noticing a new pocket with a major hole in it. Not very good when you pocket a ball, only to notice that it’s bouncing and rolling halfway across the bar, and underneath someone else’s table. If you ask the staff, they will gladly hand you some tape, or zipties to fix the pockets. But you can only do so much with the leather basketball hoop style pockets… they are eventually going to wear out or get cut by some drunken clowns. I love coming here to hustle, or try to get hustled, because get all types of players on a fri/sat night. Overall, a great place, with loud music, and very friendly(not to mention that girl Sarah that works there is cute as hell!)
