Located at a super convenient location inside Metrotown on the third floor, public transit is accessible(to the mall). Store is nice and clean, well-organized with a few staff stocking up here and there. Always look for the weekly deals and promotions as it can save you a few bucks. They also have a clearance section at the end of the store so you can search thru the bins if you have time. The only thing that needs improvement is their line-ups at cashiers. I’m sure they can speed things up when it gets busy or during peak hours.

This is a review on the Canada Post office inside this Shoppers Drug Mart. I experienced the worst postal service here. So I went to mail a ballot to Elections Canada, and it being the only business day before election day, I asked which was the fastest guaranteed option. Before I even finished asking my question, the employee said«NO!» out loud. I was shocked. My mail was in good condition, the writing was legible, and I was willing to pay a lot to get this sent in time. I asked if there was another place to go to, and she just threw up her hands and shook her head, saying«I don’t know, I don’t know.» She kept refusing. Luckily I knew there was a Canada Post inside Kwik Images at Metrotown and when I went there, I got really friendly service in contrast. I told about my bad experience there, and they agreed with me. They couldn’t understand why any post office would refuse to send my mail. In conclusion, if I have my way, I’m never going back to the Canada Post office at this Shoppers Drug Mart. Ugh.

The mall doesn’t need a Shoppers Drug Mart, however, it’s good to know that it’s there for the basics. I needed some calcium tablets ’cause it was that time of month and I wasn’t feeling too awesome. I wasn’t feeling the mom and pop health and supplement store in the mall based on customer service, therefore, opted to go to the generic store instead. The customer service was really awesome and friendly. The lady at the til was really patient with me, women to women as to what supplement would best relieve certain symptoms. Every time I do go in here, it’s always quiet. The lady at the til appreciated my dark sense of humor which very few people get. When you’re on your rag, you have to have some level of humor in the situation.

This is one of the cleanest and nicer Shoppers I ever been. Easy to walk through 24 hours open friendly staff and good deal every end of the month. I will come back again and again.

Can’t believe i’m giving 4 stars for a Shoppers! Well, this one is nicer than most… Nice to see they’ve upped the ante here in the old Middlegate area. One of the newer ones, quite large & well lit, plus without the DT riff raff, probably a bit more students & smaller families with the handful of new condos that have sprung up in the past few years. Free parking.

Places that are open 24 hours a day are generally hit or miss, but on the multiple occasions that I have found myself needing to fill a prescription or get a last minute item, this Shoppers Drug Mart location has been a treat. The lighting is bright and inviting, the selection of goods is typical of any other SDM, and I have yet to encounter any nasty employees even at the eleventh hour when it’s me and a few random yahoos. One thing that I found very reassuring and pleasant was that on my recent trip I had filled a prescription at about 1030pm on a Sunday night. The pharmacist was lively and helpful and had my prescription complete and ready to go in minutes. He also spent time providing me with details of the pills and any side effects to be concerned about. Lastly, a few nights ago I was surprised by a call from Shoppers Drug Mart. Did I win a prize for being their billionth customer?! No, they just wanted to take a moment to see how the medication was doing and made suggestions on how to minimize any side effects. Certainly, winning a prize would make me feel appreciated, but the call was equally as pleasant.
