Came here for brunch on a Friday. Its tucked away in an industrial area(tricky to find) There is free parking around. The menu has many different options from breakfast, brunch, lunch and baked goods. I ordered the quesadilla with garden salad. The portions are huge FYI, the quesadilla was wrapped more like a burrito and stuffed :). My partner had ordered the Beef Dip which was also amazing, the fries were steak cut. Both portions were very big. They also offered a home made hot sauce. The ambience is more like a diner atmosphere with casual seating. You help your self to coffee and tea. Cash only for under $ 5.00. Overall a great experience for on the go eating. Service was great and food was great :) Def will be coming back here!

Kind of strange when you walk in… It’s a German style diner in an industrial park run by a Vietnamese family. The Fraser Park Restaurant is what it is a diner that provides hearty meals to blue collar workers for a good price. They have pretty big portions and my gf and I shared a German breakfast and a pancake. We left pretty full! Don’t expect too much and you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

One of the best breakfast joints in the lower mainland. Good quality home cooking and ingredients, big(going on huge) portions, great prices. The fact that this restaurant thrives in such an obscure location speaks for itself.

Delicious! You know it’s good when it’s completely out of the way yet still packed. Good food, good price, friendly service. Would definitely come back.

ABSOLUTELYNOSTARFORTHESERVICE. 2 stars just for the food, it’s fairly good and comes in large portions. Although the prices are cheap, I wouldn’t call it a good deal if also taken into the account the effort driving to this place and the really long waiting time. We got there at about 12:30 but didn’t start eating until like 1:20(the restaurant close at 130 on Saturdays) I went there with my friend as a friend of hers recommended this place and thus we prob had higher than reasonable expectation… this place is located in the middle of no where and have to drive through a couple of construction areas. When we arrived there, a young couple were waiting ahead of us at the door so we lined up behind. After like 10 min they decided to left and we are the in the front of the line. It is our first time there and I did see the sign telling customers need to place order at the counter but we didn’t know that we can just go in and grab any seat we can find on our own. So we stood at the door for like 15 – 20 min and more ppl lining up after us. The waitress/waiter walked passing by us a few times but neither of them bothered to let us know we need to seat ourselves. A guy who sit near us was kindly enough and let us know about it. The tables in the restaurant are cafeteria style as mentioned in other reviews and the first available seat we found was right in the middle of a super long table shared by like 8 – 10 ppl. After we order, I saw a table for 4 was vacant so I was thinking about to move over. So I asked the waiter if we may switch. A mid-age lady beside him told me that this table was taken. She was cleaning the table while we talked. So I m pretty sure she’s a staff member(plus I saw her walking behind the cash counter later on). Then I saw two girls were leaving and 2 window seats were vacant so I asked her how about we move to the window seat. Somehow she thought I was asking her and her husband(I did not know they were going to eat in as well) to move and she was upset and said that her husband has pain in his legs and it is very inconvenient for him to move around. I replied«oh sry I thought u work here so I was asking you for permission to switch tables» but she COMPLETELY ignored me and turned to the waiter. After we finally sat down, it took another 30 – 40 min for our food to be ready. When the food came, the waitress only gave us a pair of fork and knife… I had to go to the counter myself to get another pair and the sugar syrup for my pancakes because the waitress is too busy to attend us quickly and we are super hungry after the long wait. I do understand that we went there on Saturday afternoon and it’s prob the busiest time for brunch, but the services at the restaurant is simply too poor. The food was not bad but there are tons of brunch restaurant that serve same quality and most likely better food in Vancouver. So I definitely won’t go back again and would not recommend it to any friend either.

This place is worth the trek into this industrial park. Great people working there and even better food. The breakfast is a staple but since I usually go at lunch, my go-to’s are the beef dip, the schnitzel burger, or the chef salad. The also have daily lunch specials(more like dinner portions) and on Wednesdays it’s German Lunch which always sells out. If you haven’t been here before, definitely make the trip!

I have three words for you: German Deluxe Breakfast! My wife and I can split one of those bad boys, and be perfectly content, if not a little stuffed. Their beef dip is a nice lunch option as well. Price wise, their prices are extremely reasonable. One thing to be aware of are the crowds. It’s more or less a communal seating experience. On a nice day, we generally just order over the phone, pick it up, and eat in the park overlooking the Fraser river. If you’re looking for one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever personally eaten at, look no further. You won’t be disappointed. And if you are, you must have terrible taste ;). Enjoy!

I liked everything about the German breakfast here(price, taste, and portion size). It came with a generous portion of cured bacon, potato pancake, potato wedges, 3 eggs scrambled, 2 pieces of toast, and their house made sausage! Another must try is their blueberry pancake! I can’t wait to try more of their delicious food. The servers were all very friendly and the place has a nice casual home community feel. They close at 2pm on the weekdays and at 1:30pm on Saturdays. I came here about 45 minutes before close on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy with fast service. Will definitely be back soon.

This German breakfast at Fraser is the best. Everything is so delicious. And the price is unbearable. All you can drink coffee for $ 1.25

If you think you drove too far, you’re getting closer. This little place is in the most odd spot you wouldn’t expect. For newbies, know that you have to order at the counter right away and yo seat yourself. Don’t be standing at the front like a fool like me. The food is super cheap and very delicious. I tried to do the German breakfast and had to take it home. It was huge! The wait is a bit longer so expect that. It’s super busy on the weekends, so be sure you are expecting that as well. The French toast is tasty. The home made sausage and cured bacon is absolutely Delish. You’ll also have to get cozy with others. I kind of like that, you just might be sharing a table with others, so prepare and get friendly for that!

Always great service here! The waitresses are all super nice and try and get to know you. I’m from Ontario and have come here every time I’m in Vancouver. That’s maybe three times within a year? And the server remembers us. They’re all very nice! The food is also great! Huge portions for a reasonable price. We always get the German breakfast and Al’s breakfast to share and there’s always leftovers! I love the potato cakes that come with the German breakfast. Eat it with some homemade hot sauce and it’s perfect! Their sausages are also my fave! Their coffee is always fresh and bottomless! I definitely recommend you give this place a try! Note: it’s located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by industrial businesses. It looks like you’re lost but you’re not!

Wonderful«hole in the wall«café, lots of good home made fare at a very reasonable price but expect a crowd so go early if you want breakfast.

I got the German breakfast. It was fantastic! The homemade sausage was great, the potatoe pancake was delicious, and the ham and bacon were cooked perfect. There was a ton of food. …it also came with a huge pile of country-style hash browns. And the eggs with peppers and cheese were good too. They have a homemade hot sauce that is also very good. My fiancé had the beef dip and did it was great. The fries he had were huge! Everything was delicious and they give you a ton of food. I would definitely recommend it!

A little out of the way place that is awesome for breakfast. Bring your appetite as the portions are on the bigger side. For example, the German Deluxe breakfast comes on 2 plates.

Finding this place can be pretty tough and may cause a little temper tantrum and road rage, just ask my girlfriend(SORRYHUN!) It’s at the very end of a road that is surrounded by nothing but garages and business buildings but once you find it, parking is really easy to get. Seeing this place on «you gotta eat here» I was thinking the schnitzel would be a lot better than it was since it was really hyped up but I didn’t find it to be all that. We had a couple breakfasts, which were nothing special, and the sausage sampler which was actually very good. The only thing that stood out to either of us was the potato pancake that came with the sampler, it was delicious and went really well with the home made horseradish sauce. My only advice about this place is to try the sampler. The schnitzel is pretty small and not much of a «must try».

Amazing home-cooked food! Busy on the weekends, but worth the wait. Try the German Deluxe Breakfast if you’re really hungry

This place mabey a little hard to find if it’s your first time here., It also may not be much to look at when you park your car., but once you taste the food and meet the super friendly staff, you will forget about it. :) I wanted to come here after i saw it on TV haha.(admit it you never heard of this place until John Caucci and his film crew came here! ;P) Its one of those«order from the chalkboard menu, pay, and seat yourself» kind of a place. We ordered the pull pork sandwich with fries, and the beef stroganoff(i don’t think i spelled that right :/) special. Not only was the food amazingly good but it was also pretty cheap for what you get. and packed with so much flavor! You can tell the nice people working here put a lot of love into their food! :D I will definitely be back! I gotta try that«potato pancakes»: and«German Breakfast» everyone is raving about !

Homemade sausage a MUST! My girlfriend of mine came to visit for the night, she needed to be on her way early in the morning. I’ve been wanting to go back to Fraser Park Restaurant for a while now, since it opened really early it worked out. We entered it was empty(this was not typical). I had the regular breakfast with the homemade German sausage, came with eggs, toast, hash-brown and fruit yes everything was greasy(except the fresh fruit) and it was delish! The servers are always really nice and coming really early in the morning we had the place all to ourselves. I love this place where else can you find homemade German food/breakfast place with all Filipina servers.
