Food is good but overpriced even for this area. They charge for bottled water and refuse to serve tap water insisting it is no good. Only good for showering. However, once we ordered beers they magically relented and out came ice water for free. I hate being lied to. In future I will walk out if they want to charge for water. Google rick steves tap water netherlands belgium to read more about this prevalent scam in Benelux.

I generally like to stay away from touristy places when I’m on vacation, but when you are in Brussels, you have to try the Moules Frites and this was a fun place to go. You can sit on the patio and watch hundreds of other tourists navigate the narrow streets trying to choose where to eat and get listen to all the waiters from the nearby restaurants try to convince them that their restaurant is the best. The staff was not quite as aggressive as the 100 other restaurants nearby at getting you in the door, which is why we chose to eat here. Our server was very friendly, and quick. We each ordered the moules-frites special, but an order is easily enough food for two people to split. So, I would recommend only ordering one plate of mussels and then ordering another plate of something else. Each order had at least 50 mussels, which is way to many for any one person to eat in one sitting. I recall that the meal was like 17 euros, which I though was fair for being so close to the Grand Place.
