Sushi Chan is over priced for the quality you receive. If you visit West Lakes; and feel like some Japanese cuisine. Head to Shinobu where it’s cheaper; and superior!

Sushi Chan is the ultimate sushi place in West Lakes. It is excellent quality and well worth the money. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their crumbed chicken roll — yummy!

It goes without saying that the optimum fuel for Ninja-Samurai like myself is sushi. So it probably wouldn’t surprise any of you that prior to a long afternoon session of being dragged around a shopping district by Girlfriend-san a quick stop for some raw fish and rice is as much of a necessity as removing ones underwear from ones butt crack! Sushi Chan is my favouite spot in the West Lakes Food Court for a bit of nosh. They always have plenty of people working behind the counter, preparing fresh rolls and other made to order bits n bobs. Many fast sushi places make there sellables in the morning and they get stale pretty darn fast, no problems with that at Sushi Chan, and for that reason alone, it is a winner!

Mmm… sushi. I love sushi. Unless it’s raw. I’m one of those girls. Sushi Chan is an extension of Charlie Chan which is located just a few doors down. Before Sushi Chan came to West Lakes I noticed that there was never any sushi left at Charlie Chan, usually there was only cold rolls. Either they never made enough or it was just too popular. I think they never made enough, but that’s just me. Sushi Chan make some damn good sushi. There’s a wide variety and it always looks so fresh and inviting. They also make cold rolls(obviously) and salads. Unfortunately it’s too expensive for my liking. If my craving for sushi can’t be fixed till I go to Sushi Chan then I’ll happily pay for it, until I regret it later. If you’re after a cheap fix then I’d go elsewhere. If you’re more concerned with the flavour then I’d go to Sushi Chan.
