I have stayed at this Holiday Inn several times and while I haven’t been here on a night that Shipley’s Restaurant has open (as it’s closed on Sunday’s and Monday’s), I have enjoyed their in-​room dining on a few occasions. Suffice to say, it’s good food. The flavours are great, ingredients are fresh and presentation/​delivery is reliable. Tonight’s dinner was Soup of the day (Mushroom), with a serving of Garden Salad and vinaigrette … super delicious in-​room dining. Thank you.

A combination of Sydney heritage and modern design, Shipley’s is a great place to go to for relaxing breakfasts and intimate pre-​show dinners. Enjoy eating their buffet breakfasts while marvelling at the warehouse-​style pillars from the good olé days when it was a wool trading floor. For dinner, you’ll definitely enjoy their Sirloin Steak cooked just right and full of flavour. It’s the perfect place to have that romantic dinner with your partner before going to a concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre directly across from the restaurant. Whether you’re looking to have dinner before a show or just want to enjoy a lovely breakfast in a rustic ambiance, Shipley’s is the place for you. Great dining experience!
