We visited Madame Tussauds with the family while in Sydney for a long weekend. We browse on their website and came across discounted price, but only to find out that they are for specific session only. Definitely recommend booking in advance to get the time slot you’re after. Tickets can be between $ 28-$ 40 per adult. And children $ 19.60-$ 28. The whole walk through isn’t very long, especially since we’ve just been to Sealife, for the same price and it felt like it took twice as long. The visit was nice, with celebrities looking very real. Only negative thing I have to say is I thought it’s pricey, given that visit to Sealife cost the same and for twice the amount of things to see.

We visited this museum in December with a couple of friends. It was funny, but we were glad we took the 63 $ pass for 5 attractions because otherwise it would have been really too expensive for what it is. We were disappointed because it is pretty small and there are not so many celebrities, but I guess it is due to the fact that the museum is not old. Anyway, a fun visit if you do not pay the higher price.

I bought the Merlin 5 attraction pass on line before arriving. This is way cheaper than doing it in person. Buy before you leave because you have to print off the voucher and present it. The Wax Museum was fun. My daughter has enjoyed visiting a wax museum in Branson, MO, so as this was part of the attraction pass, we visited. I would not have visited without the pass. However, it was really fun. My 12 year old daughter really loved getting up close and posing for photos with famous people. It took us 1.5 hours because she wanted all these photos and enjoyed pretending to a model. Taylor Swift, Einstein, Royal Family, Oprah, and famous Australians, to include Crocodile Dundee.

Great fun, very well executed. They’ve done a great job of designing scenes to match the figures, giving you tons of opportunities to take hilarious pictures with your new famous friends. There’s a documentary showing on how they create the models, and you can purchase a glass of champagne at the end while you relax with some of Hollywood’s finest.

This place is amazing! It has loads of wax figures inside and they are all interactive. We were able to get up nice and close to all of the figures and take heaps of photos! I have been there so many times now and every time I go back they have new people inside! Latest was Madonnas(three of them) and the Beatles! I also got a wax hand done which looks so good and super cheap for what you get! A personalised wax hand! They have now opened a Champagne bar up in the celebrity room which was nice to sit down and have a drink with Nicole and Johnny! At the end you can even get your very own oscar award printed with your name and and what you won it for! My large one was only $ 15 They have talks on how the figures are done in the making off room which was really interesting! The staff were lovely and were very knowledgeable and always helped you out for any photos! Even what looked liked to be managers will stop and offer to take photos! This is a MUST visit for anyone in Sydney it’s loads of fun for All ages!

If you get the combo ticket with the Sydney Aquarium, the price isn’t bad. Never been to a Madame Tussaud’s, but this location was an experience… didn’t realize how many celebrities are Aussie! Great presentation! My fave — Guy Pearce in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert — totally took me by surprise! They captured the immortal beauty of Micheal Hutchence and Heath Ledger! A must see!

It was enjoyable but pricey for the amount of things you can see. The visit barely last an hour.
