I am sorry to say that there are no sourpatch kids here anymore. Per the previous review from two years ago, I was hoping with all my might that there be the glorious sourpatch kids to save my day. Alas, that day will not be today. They do have a decent number of American goods here though, such as Hershey’s brand chocolates like Reese’s, Oreos, and other American treats. Just don’t get too crazy here ’cause you’ll definitely walk out paying a pretty penny for it. P. S. The place is at Alfred and Pitt St. Address is 13 – 17 Pitt St.

What do Fruit Loops, Reeses Peanut Butter Puffs, Canada Dry, Diet Dr. Pepper, Gobstoppers and Cookie Dough Bites all have in common? They are popular cereals, sodas and candies from the United States. I can testify to the fact that they are extremely hard to come by. For some reason or another, this Circular Quay City convenience store has named itself the mayor of awesome imports. A couple months ago I was going through some serious Cinnamon Toast Crunch withdraws. It was ugly– hair falling out, violent mood swings, the works. On a dismal stroll through Sydney, I happened to duck into this normal-seeming Pitt Street shop and BAM. My world turned upside down. Ok, sorry for the dramatic flare, but there are some exciting products here. It seems like there are also some great Asian imported drinks, but I was too busy freaking out over the American ones to notice. Next time you’re longing for Sour Patch Kids or Mike & Ike’s, cruise on in here. You’ll be sorted in no time.
