The store seems to be largely inspired by N2, I think they even have the syringe thing going on. Got the Nippon Green which was just average. If you’re going to try nitrogen ice cream, stick to N2 — they have better flavours and in my opinion, taste better too!

I’ve never had nitrogen ice cream before so I didn’t know what to expect, nor did I really have anything to compare it to. It tasted like regular ice cream to me. Maybe creamier than ice cream, but not as creamy as gelato. I ordered the Nippon green, which is just green tea ice cream with a green tea mochi on top. Maybe I ordered the wrong flavor but I didn’t think it was anything spectacular. Or maybe it was because I saw someone else order the ‘summertime happiness’, which came in a pomegranate shell and it looked AMAZING. After that, I looked at my ice cream and thought, ‘womp, womp.‘ I’m sure you can get better ice cream at a regular ice cream shop and it wouldn’t be as expensive. To be honest, I only went in because it was ‘nitrogen’ ice cream. If it hadn’t, I probably wouldn’t have even looked back.

A new nitrogen gelato similar to N2. However its menu is fixed so there are only 7 choices. My favourite one is Nippon Green(I’m a green tea flavour fan). It is topped with a green tea mochi. Most of their gelato have toppings(popcorn, green tea mochie, real bee jelly). Will try the one with bee next time. I feel their gelato melts a bit faster than N2.
