I’m always up for a good kebab so when I saw Golden Pide shining like a golden beacon I had to have a go. Well it wasn’t what I expected, so if you’re expecting a traditional kebab, hold your horses. Instead of wrapping everything in a wrap and then pressing it to grill, they grill the flatbread first, cook your meat, and then fill it up. It ends up being more like a gyro then what I consider a kebab. Not a bad thing, just not what I expected On the bright side you get a TON of meat, and it’s pretty big… you can get a chicken kebab/chips/drink for $ 11.50. Beef is cheaper. On the down side my kebab was a little dry and bland, it needed more sauce or seasoning. Don’t think I’ll be back.
