Bring your puppy, bring your running shoes, bring your bestie and bring your appetite. Dog walkers, Tan runners and chatty friends unite at Domain Brasserie. Sitting out on the street right opposite the stunning Royal Botanical Gardens, watch the busy, bustling South Yarra life go by as you sip your perfectly crafted latte, fresh juice, or eggs any way on delicious bread. The staff are a great mixture of locals and travellers, and will do their very best to get you well fed and watered, while smiling away at you. How could you not smile in such a picturesque setting? Try and grab a seat out the front so you can watch it all happen in front of you (inside’s not so pretty).
Life is good at Domain Brasserie.

Clumsy service and ok food but really quite ordinary.
Coffee and food was acceptable, poached eggs were a bit mooshy. We in fact, only came here because all the other cafes in the strip were full.
This café strip attracts lots of crazy, Prada-​wearing and rather annoying SY dog people who have no control over their dogs.
Overall was ok.

I am a firm believer loyal customers and just a customer is acquired through relationship building. Walked into this establishment for a coffee, was told a 50 cent surcharge applies for pay wave if that is all I am having. Well, with at least four venues within 100m offering coffee and less expensive I must say, you would think they would not have a surcharge of just on 10% of the coffee price. People are paying via paywave, adjust to it do not penalise. Such a policy will now have me not even think about going back and I will let all I know about such a policy. Embrace customers and they will return, peanlise them and they will not. Sad, as overall it looked quite nice inside, but alas, Café Domain and the great team won me over for several coffees in the end and I booked a table for dinner since it is a lovely day. I hope the owner see’s this and amends his policy and maybe he/​she will see the benefits of embracing customers, CRM and gratefulness of custom.
