It was a hot day on Bridge Road and I was in desperate need of a cold drink, I walked into this tea place not knowing what to expect and came out with a refreshing and delicious iced tea.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with these take away iced tea shops (I wasn’t either) it seems as though there are base teas like green or black and then they add different flavours on top.
You can choose between an ice, milk or ice-​cream blend and the staff whip it up for you in a plastic martini shaker or a blender.
The lady who was there before me was getting some sort of avocado smoothie however I wasn’t that adventurous. I asked for a refreshing ice based drink and she put together heaven in a cup. It was green tea with lemon and lime and sugary syrup in a cup with a whole lotta ice.
I’ll be heading back during summer but will still avoid the avocado smoothie until I’ve got my bearings.
