Great little book store for great gifts either for yourself or that someone special (mainly yourself). I have visited on a number of occasions and I am a fan. I don’t know the usual man who runs the store (excuse me for never asking) but he always seems nice and a little bit on the quirky side. I have also asked him to order a few rare books which he happily accommodates for me provided the book is in the country. Even if the book is not in the country (if you’re happy to wait) he will order it and notify you by phone call that your order has arrived. The store is not overly expensive and sells at which i believe to be much cheaper than the big chain stores.

I discovered this nice little bookstore when I was walking through the old Perth Train Station this weekend.
I had noticed it before, but never popped it. It surprising has quite a nice selection of book given it’s small size, I wasn’t expecting too much from a book store at a train station to be honest.
They seemed to have a particularly large kid’s section. We bought the book Hugless Douglas for our niece, it has a hand puppet in the middle of the book that you use to hug — cute!
They also had some gorgeous wrapping paper too.

Won’t be here again any time soon. Books were pretty cheap and there was a decent range but the man serving me stayed on his phone during the entire transaction! So rude! Will happily pay a bit extra to be treated like a human being next time, Planet Books here I come.
