A regular mid-​week lunch for me now Arirang is a take-​away version of the original Barrack Street restaurant! Hidden in the basement food hall of Raine Square I have a feeling the secret is out on this place! Wednesday was so busy at Arirang this week I thought I was seeing things when I saw the line!
Whilst I like my food, I am always looking for a healthy option, and they have a good selection of takeaway/​dine in meals that err on the side of healthy. I usually elect for the Beef & Rice or Chicken & Rice — both are equally as good, cooked in a taste sauce with some veges! Be warned though the Chicken & Rice is a huge meal and if you don’t have a big appetite you will struggle with the portion size!
Meals are around $ 10.00 which is really about standard for lunch in most places in the CBD these days!

The offshoot of Arirang in Barrack St. It’s food hall Korean so not as good as the original. But if you order a meal that hasn’t been precooked it should be quite nice.
