We called on a Friday and the restaurant was quite busy. We ordered chicken satays for entrée and when they arrived at the table we didn’t recognise that they were the same as we ordered. We thought maybe it was better than having the stick in the meat as is the usual case. Unfortunately the meat was dry with no satay taste. The other two dishes were only passable.

$ to $$ — I have traveled from CBD Sydney to eat here, its amazing. What can I say to someone who hasen’t been here. The classic money bags are sweet and delicious. The Beef massaman is the best I have ever had. Pad Prik, Rice noodle, argh, nearly every dish is superb but it doesn’t stop there. Such curteous, generous staff. They refill your water, always see when your done or if you need more rice(which you could help yourself but they will smile/take over if you do, which I find top quality service). The venue is so tranquil, with its beautiful canary yellow over shade and blossom tree’s, no wonder its the locals favourite in Pennant Hills, because the manager there listens to feedback, and follow through. I just wish this place could win awards, because it really is an amazing place. It’s been here longer than other thai places, and despite competition they are still there unlike most restaraunts in that area who come and go. Its cheaper, its more quantity for quality and the type of place where they always exceed your expectations, even when you keep coming back. Go there for a first date, a birthday(they dim the lights and stars appear on the roof, sing, just wow). Can’t stop raving, just go and you’ll see how good this place really is, Was the only place I ate at when I lived in the Hills, but will always visit and make the drive up.

7 of us went to dinner here and had some lovely Thai food. There are two Thai resturants in Penno. Tung Tong has been here for yonks.(they also own Gail Thai in Thornliegh) anyway back to my story, when The Seat opened on Yarrara Rd everyonestarted going there because it was new and diifferent but now all the old faithfuls have come back and Tung Tung is packed again. We had two mixed entre platters for 7. I personally didn’t think it was the best mixed platter I have had. The chicken for the sate was flattened so flat I didn’t realise it was chicken til someone told me(it looked liked slices of potato) and therefore it was kind of tough. And the spring rolls were far too sweet for me. The fish cakes were nice & spicey if you like a bit of fire but I missed out on the money bags. We shared 5 dishes between the 7 of us with rice and this was pleny. The green pork curry is one of my favourite ishes at this place although my husband said he didn’t really like it. We had a lamb red currythat was very tasty and and a massaman beef curry that I didn’t touch because I thought it would be too sweet. Well, I was told I was wrong, it wasn’t too sweet at all it was really nice. There was a very good warm beef salad a lastly a fish. The flavours of this dish were really nice but for me the fish was too mushy. One of the guys we were with justs adores this dish. I was impressed that we had a nice meal, everyone had plenty to eat and the bill came to $ 170.00
