Dae Jang Geum

Yikes! I had a bad experience with service and the food at Dae Jang Geum. My friends and I rocked up at 8 pm on a weekday and there were a handful of restaurant patrons but definitely not bursting at the seams.
There was a huge language problem with the waiter and our table. Unfortunately the waiter wasn’t able to explain the menu options so we ended up having to rely on the pictures on the menu.
We waited a long time for our mains to come out and realized that the waiter had forgotten our entrée! We reminded the waiter who said he was getting it and returned about 10 minutes later with our entrée. During our meal, the waitress also took our pitcher of water and forgot to refill it until I reminded her 10 minutes later. Service was just poorly organized. The food was ok but I prefer neighboring Korean options.
