Great friendly and attentive service from a genuine team of expert hosts! This restaurant has a really warm and friendly atmosphere with great Mediterranean comfort food on the menu. The menu caters for vegetarians and the gluten intolerant.
The line up for me this evening was some sparkling wine on arrival … Half a dozen fresh oysters which were so fresh and delicious… The seafood chowder looked ever so tempting but I was in the mood for something fresh and light on… Will go back to try the chowder for sure!
The main was crispy skin salmon. Skin crispy, and the fish moist and melt in your mouth. It was balanced well on a bed of marinated peppers (capsicum) and wilted green spinach leaves. A sprinkle of little capers throughout made for a nice combination.
The grand finale was a decadent dessert… Doughnuts and coffee :) … These are no ordinary doughnuts though — there is Butterscotch sauce, rich yummy fillings, strawberries and vanilla bean gelato which really cut through the sweet richness of the doughnut… Well balanced and delicious.
The service is great and the food is good simple honest cooking. I recommend the visit.
