Visiting Red Dust is a wonderful way to spend time and the venue in itself is very inspirational. Parin’s photography is predominately based on the Aussie environment, hence the name Red Dust. The photography captures the beauty of the Australian colours, images and landscapes. I do find myself loving some of the artwork in here and also finding myself thinking«mmm that’s a bit crap» as if he wasn’t quite lucky enough to catch the moment, so as you can see I am no art critic, just saying what I see. There were a few pieces that I really did fall in love with and could quite easily adorn my walls with their beauty. And then some almost loose their appeal because they are crap little towns in WA, Parin manages to make the smallest, most uninspiring town in WA look so incredibly magical.

I only moved back from Sydney a few months back and let me tell you, Perth artists are blessed at the size of studios available in this city. Sydneysiding artists are stuck with grubby little spaces that aren’t big enough to host their proudest works, let alone work from. Red Dust is an expansive space showcasing some lovely local art: both painting and photography. Indeed, it’s owned by photographer Paul Parin who isn’t shy to show a lot of his work in the studio. The space adds a nice touch to Mt Hawthorn’s Scarborough Beach Road which is otherwise monopolised by cafes and kitsch boutiques. Well done Mr Parin! Lovely work by the way!

Australia is such a beautiful country. But many Australians never get to travel throughout Australia and get to see its natural beauty up close and personal. Studio Red Dust exhibits the fine art photography of Australian photographer Paul Parin. Paul has taken photos around the world, but also has a large section focused on the Australian landscape. He captures all that is beautiful of this great country, from deserts to the depths of the ocean. The pictures are stunning, they capture the very essence of Australia. Everyone shoe go and see this exhibit.

Red Dust is a very bright and welcoming exhibition space in Mt. Hawthorn. Exhibiting the photographic works of local photographer Paul Parin, this studio portrays the passion that Parin has in his work and his country. Most of the pictures displayed have been taken in WA. He takes an almost existential look at the the development of the land and its people in this sprawling state. Definitely worth spending some time in the peace and serenity here.
