Thanks guys for the tickets to the show! Made a fantastic surprise to my wife! Despite the crowds it was a fantastic day for anyone who enjoys good food!

I went to this last year and this year, its a fun event with lotsa great food! I would have to say last year was slightly better as there were more activities fun things going on. Still was an awesome event — had some great booths with yummy samples — didn’t even have to eat a proper meal — was too full off of pizzas, pierogis, pastries and cheese and crackers!

Oh dear. So many crowds fighting for free samples. We lasted 25 minutes.

Thank you Unilocal for providing me with a ticket to attend today. It was a little crowded upon entering the event, however it was a breeze once I went through the doors of the Royal Hall of Industries. There was a variety of great treats to try from banana bread to lamb cooked by Le Cordon Bleu. Sharp’s High Tea exhibit was amazing. Smooth, velvety chocolate mousse with the yummiest berry cupcakes I have ever tasted. I was lucky enough to also score my own MasterChef apron. I also had the chance to try some refreshing new iced tea. No need to worry about lunch, it is covered. Otherwise some of Sydney’s top food trucks from The Veggie Patch to Eat Art Truck were there to serve some hungry people. Otherwise, Muss Chu’s pop up store was also a delight. Cooking classes, invention tests and mystery box challenges were also the order of the day. The only showbag you could buy belonged to Maggie Beer which includes some cooking sauces. Great displays. More businesses should be open to allowing people to sample rather than just straight buy. The most chunkiest macarons I have ever tried can be found here. A great day yes. All ticket holders should receive one theatre session without having to pay an extra 10 bucks for that. Some cooking classes appear to be more hands on than others. Although I had a great day… personally the Good Food and Wine Show is much better. Maybe I shouldn’t have come as early as I did.
