I love nothing more than a quick mozey around a sunglass shop unencumbered and I know Sunglass Hut is known for its aggressive sales technique but crikey o’reilly, the Melbourne Central store is full on!
I’ve also worked in retail so I know that a little sales patter is necessary but to be asked a) how you are, b) what you’re doing, c) why you’re not at work and d) what you’re looking for within the space of roughly five seconds is a bit much.
That said, Sunglass Hut does stock an enviable array of designer sunglasses and when I visited their sale was on which offered excellent value for money but the service is just a bit full on. Must try — less — harder.
