I give a five star rating just because I experienced the best tasting food, the most authentic Indonesian spices and sambal from that of others who claim they are. One thing to remember that when you came here, you are only to eat delicious meal only. Never expect to come to a five-star-service restaurant in a relaxed ambiance. I’m telling you, if only the owner spent some money and effort for the interior and decoration of the restaurant to give a just-at-home-like feeling, I’d give this 6 stars rating. You are warned, their condiment, relish and sambal are fantastic but only for those who can withstand.

I love this place for a taste of home. Rawon buntut and sup buntut are both excellent. Ask for the sambal terasi which they keep in the fridge. Vegetarians, step away very, very slowly.

The place for SUPER hot«sambal». Had the Grilled Chicken Shalom the first time, SUPER hot … only thing for me I like Chicken Breast and they only served Leg/Thigh part. Looks like the most favourite order for the rest of the restaurant. Tonight, Fried Tofu Peanut Sauce, Siomay(Indonesian Dimsims Peanut sauce), not the best I’ve had, BUT very nice and great value; $ 5& $ 6/serve. It’s a Take Away place cum self service restaurant, don’t expect silver service for what they are charging. Will definitely come back next time with a different order.
