It’s about the coffee stupid ! Now if there is one thing good old Melbourne has no shortage of it is café’s(and traffic jams — but that’s another story). However it seems unevenly distributed and this particular corner seems a bit harder to find a really good brew without a walk. The food here is also pretty decent. All in all a good start to the day if you’re on a mission. Mission 1 — accomplished ! And after 2 long blacks the sky is the limit…

Rejoice for such an amazing establishment to have recently opened in Melbourne. The Workers’ Food Room definitely redefines what great customer service really means, and thus ‘impeccable’ customer service is provided here with an amazing twist, Forget the buy 10 cups of coffee and get your 11th cup for free. This is not how this establishment works. Owner Kirsty loves to reward her regular customers with an occasional coffee or muffin surprise, and having enjoyed a quality latte and a pear and ricotta muffin you will want to salivate. Caters to all who are based in the city during the week, and is also a children friendly establishment where a youngster recently came in with a massive smile on his face when he had lunch with mum here. Their lamb is well cooked, and for breakfast: any of their dishes with eggs are a real hit. Their bread is provided by Brasserie bread, so hip hip hooray for that. Beautiful ambience, care and love goes into their food; in fact into anything before it lands on your funky table. The owner has had 18 years of hospitality experience, and it shows. They are looking forward to getting their liquor license through within the next couple of weeks, so therefore their wood fired antipasto dips will be a stunner with a quality drop(or two, depending on you). The highlight is really the service, so top notch with a lot of love. Check it out for yourself, and who knows I might see you at this establishment real soon. I also love this place back.
