DeJa Vu Bar

Great ambience, really friendly bar staff, the music was happening so was the crowd. However, the house Shiraz was a bit over priced at $ 9 a glass and frankly it wasn’t a nice drop.
I’d go back for the atmosphere but not the wine. (Maybe vodka and soda for me next time)

This ia actually my partners local after work drinks and they go here most Wednesday nights to break up the week. They have $ 6 pints and schooners all night! You can’t beat that!
It looks a little seedy but hell they have cheap drinks. A lot of boutique and craft beers you can try but otherwise a good place to banter.
I haven’t eaten here yet but the Thai menu seems nice, stirfrys and curries, yum!

Great beers especially on wednesdays when it is happy DAY and you can get a great selection of beers for $ 6. Decent venue but nothing unique and mostly yuppie after work crowd.

This is a case of being hesitant to Unilocal about a place so it doesn’t get overrun. But since I care, here you go:

This alone would make it worth stopping by but in addition to their wonderous Wednesdays they have other cool events during the week like a video game night and special craft beer tastings so check out their schedule. They have 12 taps of craft beer, peep their Twitter for that’s on now.
The place itself is a very decent bar in a less trafficked area of the city. It’s dark, the bartenders are nice and quick, and if you come on the early side of the evening, there’s plenty of space. I’m not sure I’d really seek this place out on weekends, but during the week straight after work, it’s darn near perfect.
(Oh yea, $ 15 minimum on cards!)
