Great Maylands staple. Good price, fast service, fresh made and tasty. I prefer take out than dine in here though as I have found in the past that table service can be patchy at times.

A meal at Wing Bo is like travelling back in time to 1995. The décor, the menu and atmosphere are just like the Chinese restaurants your parents took you to as a kid. There is even a free basket of prawn crackers given to every table, which is something I haven’t seen in quite some time. The menu offers no modern twists or exotic ingredients but it does have all of the old fashioned favourites, like sweet and sour pork, satay beef, spring rolls and special fried rice — all of which are prepared well and taste pretty good. It seems like other people agree, as almost all of the tables were full and there was constant stream of customers coming in for takeaway. Cheap and cheerful; Wing Bo is suburban but in the best possible way.

I had a craving for hor fun after going to the gym and thought I’d give this place a go. The interior is nicer than I expected and I felt a little out of place waiting for my food in a sweaty singlet and shorts. The staff were very friendly and I ordered wanton soup along with a combination hor fun with egg sauce. The soup and wantons were a bit bland, but the hor fun was well made, and the serving large. I’d definitely go back.

Great Chinese food, fast, fresh & friendly & also easy on the pocket! Free prawn crackers, lots of parking. Have only ever gotten takeout so can’t comment on dining in experience.

This is our favourite family restaurant. It’s cheap and cheerful. It’s byo and is great for big groups. We love the chicken curry & rhotti bread, the spare ribs, Mongolian lamb, sizzling beef & fried rice. There was 15 of us tonight and we had so much food — and dessert and it was all under $ 300 a head. — $ 20 each, you couldn’t find better quality food cheaper! Great local Chinese. Fast and quick!

Beautiful food. Ive been searching for a good Chinese place for a while now and now I cab stop looking. Had the special fried rice and satay beef. Really quick cook time. Nice service and atmosphere(although I had take away). Chinese for dinner next week to I think.

Always busy and I’m not sure why. My friend described it as «non-threatening suburban Chinese» which I can understand. I had a terrible inedible over-salted meal which I complained about. They offered to replace it. The replacement was less salty but still not good. Disappointing.

Generally I’m not a chinese food fan but for Wing-Bo, I make a big exception. And not only because I’m fortunate enough to live within walking distance of this awesome restaurant. If you’ve ever tried a decent amount of chinese, you’ll know it’s prone to being greasy, flavourless(except for salt) and just generally gross. These are things you will definitely NOT find at Wing-Bo. Consistently, Wing-Bo delivers food that is fresh, hot, flavoursome and incredibly affordable. Favourites are satay-anything, lemon duck, mi goreng and the sweet and sour vegetables. Delicious, cruncy waterchest nut! Mmmm! The menu is very, very large so you’ll be totally spoiled for choice. If you’re eating in, there is a nominal corkage fee which means you can fill your belly and empty your glass with good friends for a few hours, without emptying your wallet! Make sure to book — Wing-Bo is rarely quiet and the parking quickly runs out. If you’re visiting on the weekend, that’s not a problem though — there’s a Coles just across the road to park at. :) Finally, Wing-Bo do provide take away if you feel like relaxing at home. The wait is sometimes long(again, because it’s so busy) but it’s worth it. The décor is fairly average but Wing-Bo is definitely cheap and cheerful which more than makes up for it.

A great Chinese restaurant. Whether dining in or take-away the food is always good, the staff efficient and friendly and you never have to wait long for your order. Gets busy sometimes so worth booking ahead. Prices are reasonable and they don’t hold back on serving size.

Great Chinese food, reasonably priced. The friendly team at Wing Bo never let you down, whether dining in or taking away. The lemon chicken is a particular favourite.

Value for money, genuine customer service and friendly vibe, this is a real community orientated restaurant. Prawn crackers on arrival and the sweetest staff set the mood. Set menu options are generous and delish, their a la carte menu even more so. We really love this place. Ooh and you’re allowed a doggy bag — bonus! Ooh and as I type, cue the whole restaurant singing happy birthday to a delighted patron. Ooh and BYO no corkage too!
