I’m probably a tad biased as I enjoy this store probably just as much for its social aspects(supermarket of choice for parents with kids at Marryatville schools), but for an average size WW it doesn’t seem lacking. It has a baker and butcher on site which amounts to fresher bread and a wide variety of cuts of meat. They also have frequent specials on meat deals which can help a family get through the week. Recently I needed some gluten free items and a customer beside me said it had one of the largest range he’d seen. He wondered if there were more GF requirements in the East but I suspect they assume the demographic can support the prices — they weren’t cheap. I’m not a huge fan of supermarket fruit and veg, but they seem to have quite a good range, including organic, so they get a tick for trying. They also label extensively, so at least you know the garlic is imported from China and then it’s your choice. All in all a fairly stress free shopping venue, and the staff have always been helpful and friendly.
