Pepper Street Arts Centre

Pepper Street Arts Centre is one of Magill’s cultural gems — and entry is free.
The beautiful red brick building was formerly Magill School and retains much of its old school charm.
EXHIBITIONS
It serves as the perfect place to hold exhibitions in its double classroom area. The centre regularly holds exhibitions every month featuring many interesting works by emerging artists as well as those with a higher profile.
GIFT SHOP
There is a lovely gift shop which features art and craft handcrafted by South Australian artists. There is jewellery, pottery, glass work and leather work to name but a few.
ART CLASSES
I have never tried them but the centre also offers art classes for adults and children in the June Colligan Artist’s Studio, so the old school is still a place of learning.
