I must have had a few drinks the first time I ate the chicken hearts and the black beans but now I have to go back there from time to time because there are some flavours on the list that just can’t be found anywhere else. The more unusual items just make us more ready to scarf down everything else they bring to the table. A spread of salads and dips along with pieces of fried banana which is curiously savoury. The chorizos not too spicy, the bbq beef with cheese, epic cuts of pork and rows of chicken thighs just keep turning up one after another and when we cant take any more they come around with bbq cinnamon pineapple to finish us. So its another night rolling out of Braza and up Norton St after eating 2x what we are normally capable of just because everything they brought to the table was that fantastic. It used to be a dare and a sensation, now its a place I can reliably take people when I need a good experience guarranteed.

Yummm! Delicious! Was here recently for a birthday and had a great time. Lots and lots of food, side dishes kept coming throughout the night which was good considering we were in a big group. Service was very fast and the waiters were very friendly. Drinks were great, food was fantastic and venue large enough to accommodate big group bookings.

This is one of the better Brazilian places I’ve been to. They have the cute little things on the table to indicate when you want your meat fest to continue and if you need a break because you’re on the edge of your meat coma! The staff are always lovely and friendly, even when you feel like you’re about to explode from your meatfest. They also do good cocktails here as well. Plus, the inside is not a stark and barren place! Go have a look sometime!

If you are carnivorous and love all you can eat, this restaurant is the place to be at. The service is wonderful and very entertaining at the sae time. All the sides are abundant in variety and never ending. Plenty of choices to drink especially baby coconut, which you can eventually ask staff to break open and eat the coconut inside. It’s such a good place leaving you very very full and very very satisfied.

If you love meat and being really full by the end of the night then Braza is the place to go. As you can see by the other reviews on Unilocal!this place earned those five stars and more. The meats are cooked to perfection. The beef steak was so moist and melted in your mouth. Chicken breast wrapped in bacon and cheese so good. Pork belly crisp. With unlimited sides you can’t go wrong. The customer service is great and the staff are full of energy to keep your night going. The live band was cool too. I could go on but there are a bunch of reviews that reflect exactly how good this place is.

Having visited Braza at Leichhardt previously, I felt it was time to get a hit of quality meat’s, and to introduce to one of my friend’s what Churrasco was all about. Reservation for 6pm on a Saturday night was made, all was set for a smörgåsbord of various meat’s and good company. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation time, and the opening time of the restaurant and there was close to a dozen people already waiting, with another 20 or so arriving at the time the door was opened. Seating was done promptly, and all staff appeared happy, and excited about the evening ahead of them. Not long after being seated our drink order was taken… Soda and Lime for me, and a bottle of James Squire Four Wives Pilsener for John. As the drinks were being served, and as we were deciding upon our initial order of side dishes, a bowl of Pao de Queijo(Brazilian cheese rolls) was served. If you have not tried one of these before, you are truly missing out on one of the true eating pleasures out there(mental note, do not over do the consumption of these rolls, they are very filling, one must leave plenty of room for the main attraction — the meat). Our initial order of side dishes was served, Couve — Kale/Chinese Broccoli, Chickpea Salad, Crumbed Banana and Polenta, Tomato Salsa(this salsa was one of the freshest, most delicious salsa I have had in years). Then the Passadores(meat carvers) started to work there magic around the restaurant. I lost track of the order in which the meat was served, but as a summary: Picanha(Rump Cap) — Excellent crust on the outside, not over salted and very moist and flavoursome. Costela(Beef Rib) — These ribs were massive, they were served on a cart with the bone removed(the bone was 3−4cm wide, 25−30cm long) the meat just feel off, with no effort required. Perfectly seasoned and not drowning in sauce or glaze. Loads of flavour in every bite. Fraldinha(Thick Flank) — I was lucky enough to get an end piece, with a nice amount of crust and charring all round,(I am a huge fan of burnt ends). Maminha(Tri-tip) — Cooked perfectly, just the right amount of crust on the outside, and a juicy medium-rare centre. Cupim(Hump) — Yet another great cut of meat, a little drier than some of the others, but great with some salsa added to it. Noix(Scotch Fillet) — Every time I saw the serving cart making it’s way around the restaurant, my attention was directed at what was on board. The first few times, it was a tease… Beef Rib and Lamb Rib… then, the Scotch Fillet. What more can I say other than this is one of the highlights… Sliced table side… If only the entire Fillet was served, greedy yes, but those that have enjoyed a perfectly cooked Scotch Fillet would understand. Picanha c/Alho(Garlic Rump Cap) — Well cooked, moist and tasty with just the right amount of garlic to enhance the meat without overpowering the overall flavour. Linguica(Sausage) — One of my favourite items on the menu… perfectly spiced, YUM… enough said. Costela de Carneiro(Lamb Ribs) — As with the Beef Ribs, the Lamb Ribs came straight off the bone, and the mint dressing was spot on… fresh and not to over the top. All the Chicken varieties were well cooked and tasty(The only dish not eaten was the Chicken Hearts — they did look good however). The fish was a good break from the meat, not over seasoned, just enough to reset the palate between meats. Our server was very generous with the Prawns… although more would not have been turned away, they were delicious. The Queijo(Halloumi Cheese) was brilliant, another one of those items that you need a good level of willpower to say no to more than one(at a time that is). Other side dishes served during the meal was a serving of chips and a Rocket salad(like the chickpea salad and salsa, very fresh and thoroughly enjoyed). To end our feast a few slices of Abacaxi(BBQ Pineapple) was just the right way to tell our minds, our stomachs were full… maybe a little too full. The service throughout the night by both our server and all the passadores was second to none. At no time did we need to ask for anything, when our drinks were almost empty they asked if we would like another, and after we had finished eating(wooden blocks set to red, i.e. STOP the food) where some places would just hand you the bill so the table can be cleared, they served a new bottle of water and there was no pressure to leave. The live music was entertaining, and not too loud which can be a problem at some restaurants. All in all, we had a fantastic night. The food was excellent, Service fantastic, Ambience was enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended…

Overall: I’m not the biggest fan of Salty meat but clearly I enjoyed it as I was eating more food despite being full. I was tempted to rate this 4 star because of the salt but that is how Brazilian BBQ is made. Also with the amount of people that drool at the sound of the word«Braza» who am I to judge? Price: $ 42 bux and all you can eat meat. Literally! Taste: Meat was salty however that is the style so can’t really penalize on it, sides were great, pineapple was AWESOME! Décor: Clean, tidy, Brazilian?

Fatty salty beef. Gluttony city. Don’t miss the chicken hearts. Great service, a little expensive but worth it for the experience. interesting drinks too.

Meat. Juicy, succulent, tender, delicious meat. That’s what Brazilian BBQ is all about. Like most Brazilian BBQs, Braza has all you can eat meat for a set price. You take a seat, your sides are delivered to your table(a couple of salads, rice, potatoes, banana fritters and chillies) and then the fun begins. Waiters walk around to your table with skewers of up to twenty different kinds of meat(including chicken hearts, chicken wrapped in bacon, cheese infused beef, mustard beef and chorizo) and carve you off as many slices as you desire before moving on to the next person. This is pretty pleasing in itself, but Braza keeps it coming with all you can eat fried haloumi, prawns, fish wrapped in banana leaves and a desert of sweet, warm barbecued whole pineapple, sliced in juicy chunks onto your plate. The difference between this Brazilian BBQ and the others? The taste. Whilst Braza doesn’t have the popular topless Brazilian dancers that other Brazilian BBQs boast, the focus here is on the flavour. Everything is cooked to perfection and there is no chance of you leaving disappointed nor unsatisfied. They also have a good selection of bottled beer and wine(not included in the price). Braza is fantastic for groups — although best not to invite your vegetarian friends. (NB: Whilst Braza isn’t extremely vegetarian friendly, they do cater well to dietary needs. For instance, a friend in our group didn’t eat red meat, so our waiters maintained a continuous supply of seafood and gave us extra bowls of vegetarian sides.)

Celebrated a friend’s birthday at this all-you-can-eat Brazilian restaurant. Pieces of bbq meat in a skewer kept coming and filling our tables. Everyone was well fed and happy with the food. Service was prompt.
