Dropped in at Goodwood Fresh today and picked up two small containers of strawberries for $ 6 and a couple of sweet mangoes for just under $ 7.
Keep an eye out for the small boxes on the floor framing the perimeter of the indoor fruit stalls. Packets of mini jelly cups (my kids were thrilled to find them!), mixed nuts and snacks at fantastic prices can be found here.
It’s a perfect spot to finish off your fruits and fresh produce shopping as you scale the many food spots along Goodwood Road.

This is a swish greengrocers. The staff are as lovely and helpful as you would expect anyone hanging out around the aroma of fresh produce daily to be. They’re local and not owned by a chain so they won’t shuffle you along and try to help you as best they can.
Keep an eye out for specials by the door when you head here because there are absolute bargains to be had. The other day I picked up a tray of mangoes for $ 10.
Like a lot of grocers, Goodwood Fresh is branching out into the gourmet food range. Beside their counter you’ll find pre-​made fruit and veg salads, dips, cheeses, oils and yoghurts to accompany whatever picnic or chardonnay mixer you might be organising. Gift baskets are also available, and Goodwood Fresh delivers in the local area.
