Way, way, way overdue review birthday for 2, squeezed us in — on a Saturday — totally spoilt, food GLORIOUS, beautifully presented, ambiance just perfect, we were still there at 1.00am alone accept for staff possibly owners. Wine list divine found much loved old world wines so may by the glass. Took the 10 & 5 course degustation with 2 different wine levels. Cheap, no, value for money absolutley just out of this world. Can not believe I hadn’t been there before. This will be a regular. Loved that I could feel at home here dressed to the nines also knowly that smart casual would also fit in. Do not ignore this jewel. Price range noted for evening lunch really quite reasonable.

This upscale restaurant is located on the Esplanade and is a wonderful place to both celebrate special events and, on select nights, enjoy live music. Clyde and Leslie make everyone feel very welcome and valued. We were there last night to celebrate my 60th birthday with family and friends, my mother had pre-​selected a menu with Clyde and the choices covered all our differing dietary requirements while also being beautifully presented and delicious! Although slightly more formal in appearance, the ambiance is warm and friendly and the distance between tables means someone can be celebrating with friends or enjoying an intimate, romantic dinner.

This isn’t somewhere that would usully attract me but I liked the combination of elegance and friendly. It was a welcoming place and I didn’t feel underdressed like I might do going into other fine dining restaurants.
The menu is quite modern. They have won a variety of awards so its no surprise that the food is good.
Any time I am in an establishment as professional as this one I have to try the lamb, there is nothing like a well cooked lamb. The dish I tried came with herb gnocci and an olive tapenade, my mouth is watering just typing it.
This place is definitley a modern and well run establishment. They have won awards because they have deserved them which I find refreshing.
