A few years ago Concord lost one of its much loved eating spots, the cult favourite, ‘Portuguese Chicken’ shop. Locals were dumbfounded, disgusted and saddened by the loss. Where would we get our delicious chicken now? Thankfully, Caribbean Charcoal Chicken has successfully filled the void.
The recently renovated takeaway joint offers a generous variety of chickens, burgers, sandwiches and salads. As the only chicken shop along Majors Bay Rd, Caribbean Charcoal Chicken can get pretty busy, but for good reason. The ‘Caribbean Burger’ is deliciously spicy and the perfect hangover food on a Sunday morning/​afternoon. The buns are fresh, the slow roasted chicken fillets are juicy and the salad is fresh. What else could you ask for?
