Upon my first visit to this store, I was warned to be prepared to either develop separation anxiety with Sana’s silken dresses, or be bankrupt for the next few weeks. I haven’t experienced either, but Sana has certainly left a lingering impression on my materialistic inner core. Housed within the upper class and oh-so-chic shopping district of Claremont, Sana Boutique is one of those businesses that is upping the ante for Perth on the international fashion radar. They stock a wide range of beautiful dresses from Australian, New Zealand and international designers such as Alice McCall, Camilla and Marc, Rittenhouse and Paul and Joe, all staying true to Sana’s manifesto to provide the most exquisite pieces for a lady looking to indulge herself. And this store truly is an indulgent experience. There’s something about a sleek, white minimalist design, fresh cut lillies, a glass case full of jewellery and mannequins dressed in Grecian style gowns that screams exclusive. Not that one needs to be toffee-nosed to be let in to this boutique. The vibe inside is friendly, relaxing and of course, luxurious. The staff are helpful, yet not intimidating, and always willing to offer any style advice in line with your body shape and the occasion you’re shopping for. Although residing within an area well-known for its upscale target market, I did find a few items in here that didn’t make me tremble in my boots. Be prepared to spend upwards of $ 200, and certainly don’t go here before pay day.
