Overpriced and pretty sterile in atmosphere. This place manages to have some great mid 20th century furniture but expect to pay dealer prices. It’s a real missed opportunity for Vinnies. Sydney Road is the perfect place for good quality affordable retro.

So, I have to admit, I was hella excited for the new Vinnie’s to open just across from Barkly Square. I pretty much live in the Sydney Road Savers, and I was itching for a bit of a change. Unfortunately, though, this new Vinnie’s just doesn’t quite have the same feel as the others. it’s just a bit too clean cut, a bit too sterile. The one cute blouse I saw was $ 20! At Vinnies’s.
The one plus is that they have awesome homewares, but for clothes, it’s back to Savers for me…
